If you are already here then you know what spinny fun can be had (even if it is slacky at the moment) and if your in the area or fancy coming to one of the meets then this is the thread for you. We are a friendly bunch of 'spinners' who love to meet up for spinny goodness biggrin

If your just passing through our little town and fancy meeting up just PM me and i will see what we can do.

this is where we spin

GATHERINGS

Next one is 13th-14th september wink........

Main Meets are the second weekend of every month (usualy)

ROLL ON THE SUN!! . Well there is nothing i can do about the cold or the wet or the wind so its meets at mine smile which is rather fun and we have a nice piece of park land less than 5 minutes from my house,(we can go to riv too as that is the main park in town and only 20 minutes from my house)the park near my house it also rather good for a bit of power kiting if the wind is good enough and not too gusty. This is very handy if it is a bit of a dodge weather day as if the sun comes out its easy to quickley pop out.As for near by shops,i live just up the road from our local green which does have shops a bargain booze, takeaways etc.

If i have enough wood then there is a fire out the back so we can sit around and keep warm.My house is a non smoking house because of the kids although that is another reason why we sit outside as i do not mind smoking in the garden. Also feel free to bring food and drink too, you are more than welcome to use my cooker and the general rule is.. use it clean it smile

Both the park and my house are not far from the train or bus staion

I suppose now would be a good time to find out where i'm going.

My memory from last time consists of the location to get the bus in coventry (time can = wait till one appears)...which leaves the problems of the closest place to get off (I remember it starting with a W...I think), the way to your house and what bus to get back to Coventry.

This also reminds me to fill up the paraffin bottle tommorow.

I'm fine on this lovely bright snowy winters morn, I feel alive and happy. It must be all the extra nice light bouncing off the snow making my brain feel content and SAD free biggrin I love snow, I drove my car the long way to work for the extra fun factor and then did skids in the work car park before I parked. I only nearly hit one car, but mine is only worth £70 so I didn't really care ubblol

First post dates.....do you mean Sat 11th Feb or Sat 11th March?

I might, just very might, be able to get down for this biggrin bounce hug

I shall be there, I may be late though as I intend to force my brain into actually remembering the way and that shall probably involve some exploration.

Bahhh,, M'utterly jealous of all this talk of white stuff frown as we havent really had any down my way Although i did get to run out and stand in an all too brief flurry on wednesday afternoon,, but it always stops far too quickly.

Unlikely that I'll make it up for the 11th though aswell frown( but possibilities that I'll be up after that

well guys sorry to have to do this at short notice but i am afraid i can not hold the meet this weekend due to a slight case of the measles!!!!!!, both my boys have got it and i really don't want to run the risk of infecting others.
i shall let you know when they are better so we can re arrange it.

If anyone is up for a meet at an alternate venue, the summer house here is still set up from last weekend.

I can't give directions to Malvern as I don't drive, and don't do roads (south of Birmingham, east of Herefordshire), but here's the map from there...

We can do both Saturday and Sunday, and peeps are welcome to stay the night. Will try and get the word out to local spinners too.
