I shall be there. Don't panic guys - Mags has this remarkable way of sorting everything out with no fuss and bother. Weekend is set - book your time off work if you're worried about that and just spend the rest of the time thinking about what fancy dress costume you're going to bring and how much beer you can fit in your chosen mode of transportation. The rest will sort itself. biggrin

Ok so for all those that want more infomation I'll put it all together in this post.

Dates:- 21st July- 25th July (when you arrive and leave are up to you)

The Location :- the camp/caravan/barn site were are going to is THIS ONE.

The prices per night are:-
Camping/Caravan
Adults: £5 per night
Children: £1.50 per night
Hook-up: £2.00

Barn
Single room per Adult/Child £17.00 per night
Family room sleeps 4 £50.00 per night
Dormitory per bed £17.00 per night

The Field is huge and I don't think there will be any problems with getting a space on the field to camp. The barn however has limited beds and will probably need booking in advance. As I think will caravan pitches as I believe there are a limited number of hook-up points for power.

I don't really think it would be wise for each individual to contact the site about barn reservations because it will just be confusing. If people wish to book a bed in the barn, maybe someone could volunteer to be the arranger. If I remember correctly there is an 8 bed dorm, a 6 bed dorm, 2 x family room(one double bed and bunkbed)and a room with one set of bunk beds.

Directions on how to get there:-

By Car
From Truro take the A39 to Falmouth, straight over the double roundabout at Treluswell (Penryn), and straight on (bearing right) at the first of the two roundabouts ahead. At the second, turn left and continue down to the Asda roundabout where you go straight across on to the dual carriageway and up the hill to the next roundabout (Hillhead) where you turn right. Go straight across the next two mini roundabouts and continue on this road for about 2 miles - this is the Maenporth beach road and you will find Tregedna Farm on the right hand side.

By Train
Penmere branch line, from Truro, is approximately 1.5 miles away.

I hope thats of some help to the lost, confused and those that need to plan ahead of time.

The hooks up are the round blue ones that you plug carvan adapters into, and not your bog standard 3 pin plug socket.
So that means you can bring electric kettles unless you bring an adapter.

and a major point Skully forgot to mention- the farm has a cattle grid at the entrance, so you will need planks of wood with you if you wish to bring livestock.

F_R_D I'd say that they class 15 and under but I'm not sure I'll see if I can find out for you.

[edit]

The booking form says under 14 is a child. Hope that helps.
