I dunno... I may not be bringing my techs down...

Does anyone else take their techs? How do they charge them? Will they be safe from the nasty cloggy sand?

Plugs must be pretty cheap, so it should be too tough to rig something up to plug into the caravan-type-plug-socket.

So the plan for any Irish folk looking at this, trying to come over is...

Flying Ryan air, piss cheap into Bristol on Thursday, Taking something called the "Wessex" train to Falmouth Dock station !? and then show a bit of leg on the side of the road and try and get a lift to Maenporth !?

Wow this place is really out of the way.... Cant wait though bounce2 bounce bounce2

P.s. shall the Irish folk bring their own "Ping" or will there more than likely be some there for purchase ?

Posted:I'll probably be bringing a car battery and inverter along. Won't we need a huge extension lead from a hookup to our seperate little field? The only option may be to have a handy car to keep the battery charged. I'm guessing that's OK from the photos from previous events.

Whenever the word 'ping' is said within earshot of me, could several people please jump on me to prevent me from replying. It really doesn't do me any good, and I won't be able to resist for the whole weekend by myself wink

Luckily a month is just long enough to brew up a potent alternative biggrin

Homebrew sake. The closest you can get to spirits without breaking the law. (18%-20% no distilling)

Cam I don't think you want to go to the docks. Go to Falmouth town station not the docks and I'm sure we can bribe Garthy or someone to come and pick you up.

For all those worried about charging toys we have ways and means of doing it as long as we don't abuse it... shhhhh its top secret but it can be done wink

Doesn't anyone have a car charger for techs?

Anyway, Linden_Rathen:
I have a couple of adapters, so I can plug into either a wall-plug or an outside round 3-pin jobby doo-dah (TM).

It all depends however on how many people I'm taking in my car as to whether I bring the cannon or not...

Last time, there was barely enough space for Lovesthecircus's legs - and he's even smaller than me! wink

Ohhhh it's getting closer faster it seems.
A bit like approaching a waterfall.
Only more fun.
And hopefully dryer.
And with less chance of death
And no worrying roaring sound either.

So, not particularly like approaching a waterfall really.
Damn
