It is with great sadness and regret that I withdraw my attendance from Falmouth 4, Due to a clash with my family holiday, I wont be able to make it. Thanks all those who were so awesome last time, and see you next time (Hopefully!) and have a fantastic weekend!

Plus I'll be there with my prototype LED poi too, along with my laptop, so we could get to work on putting peoples ideas into code straight away.

I think this is going to be one extremely colorful Falmouth meet biggrin I can't wait to see what these things will look like in the hands of someone with considerably more poi talent than myself wink

I think it may be time to put in an order for more parts smile

This all looks interestingly like a veritable weekend of mischief tongue

I haven't got time to read the entire thread but if anyone's going to be commuting down from London on the Friday night/Saturday morning then PM me if you're all grouping up (and taking over the train/coach/cab/plane/jellycopter etc).

Also, will be kipping under a Jack-basher and hopefully have the means to cook (is that allowed?) or is there a place on site to eat?

*ponders*

Pull my pin out, roll me in to a room and see what happens ubbloco

A Jack-basher is a one-man basher. A basher is a sheet of vinyl that acts like a weather shield rather than a tent - leaving the side exposed to the elemants and giving an all round view (except on the end which is pegged in to the ground.

My Jellycopter

is less harmfull on the environment than a helicopter as it uses the same foods as what I eat for fuel, has no emissions and is bred on a free-range Jelly farm. Everyone will have one of these in the next ten years! Beats driving I tell ya (and the conversation is better too!)

Good good, sounding more and more like a plan biggrin

oh come on - it is proven that free range Jelly farms cannot supply even a tenth the total demand for everyone to have a jellycopter!

you are going to have to resort to mass-farmed jelly for that kind of output! it is a classic problem, and I can't beleive you have overlooked that kind of detail!
