back in canada, but missing you all

thanks for some special times!

Arashi- I am arranging the purchase of a most delicious long whip ... thanks for the inspiration and titilation... I loved your dance style, and the Darling Nikki singing was a delight. Next time we absolutely must perform a duet!

Rob- you are a joy and a master of organization. I can not thank you enough for your good humour and hospitality. Hope to have the chance to reciprocate. ***Please, please please send me the lyrics to homosexual cowboy, I can only recall the first verse!

Firepoise- a pleasure to meet you, wish we had more time to talk. My love, your power as a woman and a performer comes from far more than your hips ( as distractingly beautiful though they are!) never forget that! Check out Rilke, and Mary Olivers Flare for more favorite poets, or pm me... I am a word junky

spanner- lovely to meet you too, and hope to again!

Meg- I am practicing heckling at every opportunity, you much inspired me! Your spinning was also inspirational, I have never been drawn to staffs before seeing you! A pleasure and an honour.

Ninja Dave- never spoke to you, too busy drooling and picking my jaw off the grass. Wow. Can I have your children?

The french men- oooh la la. thanks for the fireworks! Julien, I would love a copy of the CD left in my Walkman, what was the band? Something about Marmalade? Trade ya for a copy of Ganga Giri.

Jake- thanks for the lift, enjoyed your tunes, hope you liked the Xavier CD

Pink- never really liked the colour pink, but girl, you change my mind. Thanks, and I seriously did learn from you! ;-)

Nate- I owe you some sausages still! Thanks for the spin at Uberpoi, on the hill. Beautiful. I can send you some tie dye boxers, send me your address...

Oli- good to see ya again, glad you enjoyed the strawberries!

Dan, 2bags, Andy- be in touch! glad we got a little time to play

So much to write, but simply no time . You are a great bunch, and I look forward to welcoming you all to my place should you ever get out this way!
Next Uberpoi, on Salt Spring?
much love,
Andrea

Due to me not having a spare hour or so to compose a furruh and long winded reply here, addressing everyone personally as im at work...I just want to add the names of those who were more special than everyone else ( tongue )

bounce Mags bounce

Bovril Monkey

Vixen

Skully

Arashi

2 boxes of poi (Andy)

Firepoise

Le Chat Blue

Flashpoint

Rossco

Durbs

Strugz

If I forget anyone, its not intentional, i just have 5 mins free at work.

Thank you all for such a fantastic time. Particularly the boot space sharing, the walk along the cliff top ( ubblove ), the lies that were used to get me as a water bomb target (which I would have said yes to anyway), the coming back to my tent and finding it full of smoke and people ( smile ), making fires biggrin , going to the toilet and hearing the bassline coming from the speakers of one of the cars, seeing skully being engulfed in flame in the middle of a burn off eek , Steve and the shopping trolley bounce (I want t' see you doing chin ups like that next time wink )

Those are all the things I can think of at the moment...

but a massive thank you to everyone that went hug

Right, been meaning to do this for ages:

Thanks first and foremost to Mags for being a star and taking on the burden of organising around a 100 HoPppers over the space of a few days (no mean task! wink ) hug

Arashi: Thanks for explaining what the 9bt conical spider should look like! smile hug

Bird, Daniel, Brad, Mags, Matty B and of course Gayle and Neil: grouphug for passing the spliff in the stoner tent. Special thanks to Gayle and Neil for providing shelter, food, coffee and spliff! smile hug

Trippy Hippy, House of Mill, Wild Child, Havokist: you guys are just brilliant. Everytime I see you you have a smile on your faces and a spliff to hand. Genius! grouphug

Gelfling and Mel: thanks for sharing the Green and Blacks, helping us shift our bags and returning the corkscrew to Karen's Mum and Dad (even though apparently there was a picture of me as a 70s pornstar in there?) ubblol hug hug

Hyperlight: hug for the brightest glow poi I've ever seen. I'll have to steal them for a go next time!

Vixen for being the most 'bubbly' person there and Minimaniac for the lifts and help with rope dart construction! hug hug

Bovril: for being a great bloke who is extremely talented with balloon contruction. Seriously dude, you never cease to surprise me! hug

UCOF: for use of the tent while you were away tongue and for keeping the fire going hug

Simian: For helping me out with that longarm stuff hug

MCP: for the heckling, firework staff spinning and general silliness smile hug

Skully: For being the hoopalicious pirate fairy and helping get our arses in gear beforehand hug

Flaming Deity: for being inventive and letting me borrow those lovely fire ropes! hug

Flashpoint: For being a total gent all the time! hug

Durbs and Ed: for listening to me ranting about CJ and then gaping at them while they do something cool.hughug

Meenik: for some really helpful instruction and great spinning hug

Lauz, Linden, FRD, GothFrogette: for general insanity grouphug

imakokode and the french dudes: Glad I met you guys on the beach. Thank you for bringing the firework staffs. You rock! grouphug

Flame Boy: For being the first person I met before even getting to the campsite!hug

Ok, well that covers most of it but I really have to go now, so I'll just say thanks to everyone I met that weekend, sorry If I missed you out.
hug to everyone for making it a fantastic event
