i'd like to print a hop thr3ead out so i can read it away from my screen but i'm finding it hard to get a version of it that doesn't waste 50 pages with signatures and lines i don't want/need.

is there any way to get a printer friendly version of the threads that has only name of poster, time and date of post and then the posts themselves?

or would i have to go beg admin for something like this...?

cheers,

cole. x

Good question,

I once cut and pasted a long one into notepad, then manually deleted some fluff, and used search findy replacey things to trim the rest, but it was a chore.and I'm sure you can guess the thr3ed.

I like the 3 in thr3ed.

After that, I found out that my flatmate had put a very nice button at the bottom of the page on every thread.

"print thread"

which shoud give you perfect satisfaction for all your thread printing needs smile

He's lovely.

he doesn't just sort out HOP you know

yesterday he fixed the shower hose biggrin hug

I like the concepts of "stoking fists" and "dive images." ubblol
I don't know what they mean, or if its polite to try them with our new shower head,
but it sounds exciting. biggrin

Drive images? You need a Knoppix CD for that (assuming the laptops all have CD drives and network ports).

I need to do the same kind of thing for an internet cafe at some point in the future.

i use bfd for that, starts up the network card in dos, and then i se a network copy of ghost, and it works very nicly, it just takes a while to make the images, so dom you can come and help me!

and i so could afford you, i would feed you and tuck you in at night, what more do you need?
