And they shall be named Anaswara's (The name of the wonderful lady I have the honour to stay with at the moment - and it is imo a really beautiful name too ubblove)

And if you wanna call them something else . . . . do so hug

In principle: Spin a Onehanded butterly (sametime is easier than splittime imo. And Quartertime will be harder to be followed with the eyes than being performed ubbloco) in a big arm circle. So one Poi is in normal spin and the other in antispin. And clean please - otherwise flowers always look a little bit wilted tongue

And if you can already do them nicely then I wanna call 4 Poi Butterfly Flowers Anaswara's - 2Meteor 2Bags style weavesmiley Or Andrea's if I can name both wink (Another nice lady worth a flower hug)

peace

I I don't know what I'm more jealous of, the one handed bf flowers, or the fact that you come in form out of the country and get to stay with hot chicks... it just goes to show, chicks dig with skills...

speaking of chicks digging skills, I saw a shirt on an ad at fark.com. I should have saved the site... it had a t-shirt with napoleon dynamite's silloutte, and he's holding two sets of nunchucks (but they look like glowsticks on strings) with a caption at the bottom that says 'chicks dig guys with sweet skills' or something to that effect..

Well, I am a bit late finding out about this move, sorry, but I just wanted to say:

Rev, don't be jealous!

ubbrollsmile

Yes, chicks dig men with skills, but No, the skill set you are looking for does NOT involve Poi!!!

ubblol

Astounding, I know, but- Really! It doesn't!

You, too, can stay with the so called " Hot" girls! Anytime! Just ask him to share his "secret" with you...

wink wink

Andy has yet another skill , the making of the most extraordinary delicious Dark Chocolate Mousse... It is quite addictive .

ubblove

Yum.

Ask him to teach you, then by all means, come for a visit!

( and please, show me this flower thingy he is describing!)

can you get this to work andy?

does the timing not go all squishy...?
with the 1/4 circle difference that the arm makes, it seems these would require a one-handed bf with different speed poi eek

which sounds quite hard to me by itself, let alone working out what doing them in quartertime does to the pattern!

having said that, i'd love to see them and see how they actually work in practice andy.
glad i won't have to wait long - july it is... biggrin

That would be the perfect question to ask Nick ubbidea
Having said that, I'd love to do them clean but I think I can show you the principle weavesmiley

nope, you just have to trust the safety crew ooooops

And now the important part: (Sorry , but could be a little bit offtopic )

Guckis Schokoladen Mousse:

For 1 Egg take 50 ml of Heavy Whipping Cream and 50 g of Dark Choclate.

Heat up the choclate under low heat (Oven works quite well)

Part the egg and add to each egg yolk one tablespoon of warm water and a hint of salt.

Beat the white of the egg till its really hard and store it in the fridge

Beat the mad2 out of the whipping cream but teake care that it doesnt turn into butter beerchug

Now quickly mix the warm hence liquid choclate into the warm egg yolk water mix. Continue to carefully and slowly add - like an isolation - the whipped cream and the beaten eggwhite.

bounce clap bounce2

Done

(try it, it works. And the more the better hug)

Now you could add the remaining choclate to paint some circles on the top.

Or add some fruits (Try different manogs, the fruit of the millenium biggrin)

Top it with marshmellows (This is how they do it in LA)

Or try different kinds of choclate

You could event try Water for Choclate

Or go Play with sand
Greetings from San Francisco
