Hi there!

The poi lessons on hop are great. Really. ubblove
but I'm through, and of cause I'd like to learn more moves. It's quite tricky to understand (even if you have a look over "words and definitions") to understand what complex things you are doing.

So, knows anyone a webpage, where there are advanced tricks explained with vids, for example like the mcp-page for staff?

i'm SO looking forward to that! please notice this forums when you're ready. smile i guess lots of people will be happy that day!

it took a while but since right now the tutorials with more than 1600 gratis movies are also complete in english and spanish possible. you can see it easily at the startpage.

also we have new tutorials about environment (how to reduce lampoil) safety (how to use extinguisher, collection of accidents etc.)

most of it is english already but we still need a lot of help in describing the moves in english, which can be done easily with the textbox below each move for poi and staff(s)

Hey everyone
Ok I'm new to poi, finding it incredibly frustrating and painful! Just wondered if anyone has any advice and doing some not to difficult moves, especially weaves! Just cant figure them out! Always end up just doing a figure of 8.
Hmmmm, this hurts my head in more ways than one!
Help!

Are you having a good time?

Hello wavehello
Have you looked at the lessons section of HOP yet? There's lots of newbie information there.
Also, there is an excellent DVD out called Poi Spinning Basics with Pele's Element which is especially good for beginners.
