i'm not... but as it happens am looking for a good blogsite. I want to be able to post pictures and stuff, and to not necessarily have to follow someone else's web layout...
....actually i wonder if it wouldn't be easier just to make my own website....

Sounds like you want to go the whole way and get your own site
Check out Wordpress if you want a blogging tool for your own site, it's pretty neat. For posting pictures you might well be best off using Flickr.com - it's a photo-sharing site that I use. It's free and nice.
I have both running on my blog, which is conveniently down so I can't show you any of them. It'll be up again one day at www.shrieking.net.

anyone a member of Poi Spinners! community?
or any of the other communities on there?and are they as bad as they used to... ie can you say something without offending dozens of people who obvioulsey have lost the ability to laugh/ relax or except people have different views?
i have LJ for mainly ranting, well only to friends oh and to shove all my quiz results.
i use msn my space too (Same name for both) but thats suitable for public consumption

i've forgotten how to look up/join communities on lj...ah well! gotta warn ya though about my lj...i can be very random & quite often rambling/venting/ranting about stupid things.
but most of the more grr posts i post as friends only. if i knew how to make groups that might help...not everyone needs to read about my bad days!! and i do a lot of dumb quizzes!!!

oh dumb quizes are great they pass the time away and come in useful. Yesterday i went into Cov *Brought son a diabolo. and got asked to do a survey on a lap top which takes around 20min. i did it as there was free coffee and completed it in just over 5 minutes. so i figure the more stupid quizes i do the better i will become at these surveys, helping out advertisers to give us the consumer exactly what we want.

hey sweetie, if you wanna make groups go into manage friends, then edit custom friends groups, click new, and then you select the names that you want in different groups. Name them what ever you want and then next time you only want certian friends to see your rants you choose "custom" from the security level. Hope that helps!!
