have you even tried searching for yourself on google or are you waiting for someone to post a direct link?

wink

Here are some baton videos, which I have just realised have nothing to do with your original post, but which I will post anyway.

well there is "the finishing move" for staff after pulling it off one would have completed staff ....... whereby one does a lynx to dead horizontal shin trap, then a standing horizontal kick up to a foot stall where the staff is perpendicular to the ground after one full revolution of rotation then then staff is kicked up to a chin balence (with no staff rotation) all of which occurs in the path of minimal movement

after completion you will be issued with one standard lightsaber

I don't know about that, baton twirlers do some hard stuff (not dual fishies as far as I know, which is my one hardish move.) They have been doing it for a long time usually, they must start at like, 5 or 6, and go on through to college level, so 20ish... which means a fair amount of years of experience more than me...

obviously they have different goals, having to do a variety of compulsory tricks prefectly and having to rememeber three to five different routines for each competition.

But we're only starting to do hard stuff... but they've been doin' it for years... . (plus I don't think they have as much of a jugglers techy attitude... I think they have a more: how can I get the top score attitude...)

Id agree with the bluecat,

the doubles ive been seeing / attempting is damn hard and in some cases harder than anything ive seen on the baton vids (especially the latest ones posted) lots of spinny spinny, not alot of contacty contacty biggrin

A for being issued a lightsaber Ben - ha, didnt you realise every sith / jedi makes his own rolleyes or gets one from there dad, by an old dude in a brown cape wink

But the matrix isnt really Jedi anymore - i think its too common and well understood now - thus defeating the point of being a 'Jedi Move.'

From memory Glass spent about 4 epic posts in the Poi Jedi thread trying to explain the essence of Jedi.

The only Jedi staff I have seen recently would be Kyle Mclean's triple contact staff work.

Oooh Kyle's staff.. hmm

Picture contact staff meets drunken master meets snake charmer meets cirque du soleil dancer meets that evil wizard who tried to kill Aladdin, but gone good, meets giant mechanical clockwork robot gone humorous plus life modelling gone wacky. With 1, 2 or 3 staves. Beautiful to watch.

Those wise men he consulted when he was experimenting with lucid dreaming must have let him in on a big secret.

I should also mention that Kyle is an extremely talented guitarist, which must somehow factor into the staff stuff, not to mention does a great artsy talkback radio show with Jesse on the way to random doofs. biggrin

Heh he doesn't have a radio show either. But boy if he did. He'd make a very small demographic VERY VERY happy smile

I assume it must. I'm even down to observing what bread he eats. And he makes it himself in a breadmaker..
