ok, a year or so back, i remember reading something about jedi moves and it was REALLY long list of insane moves. i recently remembered it and looked it up. i found it and it has only a few moves...none of which are as insane as i remembered. is there more then one jedi move topic?

There was a dark side thread as well, might've had the word sith in the title. Can't remember what was in it though.

I remember looking in the jedi moves set and isolated buzzsaw was in there - these days everyone and his dog can do that. Airwraps were crazy talk when I first started poi a few years back but now they're commonplace. It's strange how things move on.
The double neckwrap was definitely in there, however, and this is still damn hard.

thanks, i had found both of those threads and yes, it does seem less impressive now because of my skill level but...for some reason...the list seemed to be huge...maybe it was that sith/dark one...if someone could dig that up, i'd love you, lol, as a friend

"there is another" : Teaching moves or the longest post ever. But i dont even think there are any moves in that thread.
Its strange how there is only one "hard" move left in the jedi set and everything else is just the norm now

The cleanest, easiest-to-learn-from grandfather clock is done by Heather at 2:50 in A Funk Dee Film. Skunk does it with a lot more style -- originally in B Complex (1:30), and then I believe the next time I saw it was in one of Nomad's vids (about 2:55 in Nomad_Marrakesh).
Watch the stalls... each stalls twice, then spins while the other hand stalls twice... so I usually count it off - stall stall - stall stall. 1-2-3-4. I particularly like the way that on the second stall, the hand is bent back over the other wrist, 5-bt-weave-stylee... and that the stalled poi starts up just before the other poi stalls, adding to the convoluted timing.
Have to admit the only reason I'm nominating it for ninja/jedi/whatever status is because it's one I can do! Gotta get my points somewhere...
