And so, announcing the worst kept secret in history.

Uberpoi will almost certainly be held on the weekend of the 16th of July.

Teachers will be confirmed in the next few weeks. but don't you worry, they're going to be DAMN good.

price will be �45.
why the increase you ask?

because the uberstaff teachers were paid a very small amount, certainly not enough for the time they put in. and we would like to pay people a reasonable amount for their work. �45 is still very cheap when compared to most weekends of this type (approx �40 per day is the usual rate).

Accomodation will be fun to sort out, but i'm going to try to find a cheap location for all.

i am away in bristol for the next week, so will not keep you up to date until after i get back.

i don't have time to do the confirmed list now.

i have been asked, however, to make a bit clearer what you get for your money:



for the princely sum of �45 you will get two days intensive classes, lots of lovely people met and played with and more new poi knowledge than you could shake a 'flexible swinging club' at. On the middle night there will be partying galore, with fuel and some sort of soundz provided.

food is NOT included - but there will be an Ubercafe run by the lovely rob, providing great food for small amounts of money.

accomodation: sleeping bags on floors(and yes, nate, you should ALWAYS bring a sleeping bag when travelling to a floor, and not expect hosts to have unless previously specified). as mentioned in the above posts, i nearly have enough spaces, with a couple left ot sort out. if anyone fancies a bit more privacy/helping me/ is feeling rich(delete as applicable) then feel free to book into paying accommodation and get real luxury.

Surely we'd have to have lots of caffeine too to keep up with them, and well, you know it could get messy when you get that many people high on caffeine (and sugar) spinning things around. It's kinda asking for trouble.
