our board of ed is being incredably stupid with our class. every other college course (AP) offered at public high schools is exempt from giving a final exam. but, for some reason, my AP government class isn't, only because we're sophomores. so, we're taking the final exam as well as the college level exam. as if that wasn't enough, sophomore year we're given the standardized test for government! of course, every student in the county is given that test, so us AP kiddies will have no problem with it, that's besides the point. i've got 3 comprehensive government exams where everybody else has one frown

Good luck all - if anyone needs some science help PM me. Exams are the worst way of assessing someone in my opinion.

the school have been drumming into them how important they are since they started year 5 last year and he has added stuff off his teacher as he could quite easliy get a level 6 if he studied.
(the higher that sats results for the school the better ofsted report they get you see.) *Runs off before rant on schooling starts

argggghhhhh SATs anger me SO SO SO much!! I remember getting so stressed out about them, and it's ridiculous- as soon as they're over you don't care, you realise how pointless they were, and forget all about them...but no matter what people say you can't help stressing about them at the time. And it's just not right to make children go through all that. My mum took my brother out of school for the last term of year 6 cos he didn't want to do his SATs- I reckon that's the way forwards...they really can't do anything about it if you just happen to be ill during that week!

And I'm pissed off cos Glastonbury is right in the middle of two weeks of hardcore exams so I can't go. mad

The thing is, I have enjoyed all my courses so much it seems such a shame that it has to end in this nasty stressfull way.

It's my third year of exams, and I'll have another one next year at Uni. Just gotta keep thinking of the summer! It's nearly here!

God... assembly was always so boring... and extremly patronising.... Our deputy head got his "dog" (a puppet) to talk to us... it was so annoting...
