Ok so after have the chance to get up to Uberstaff and meet all the loverly Irish folk that went, ive decided that they are all so nice that they should be visited very soon.

If not only to steal more staff trix wink

So far they have kindly offerd places to stay, but are not sure on numbers but we are all grown ups and ive started this here so we can be a little organised.

Im thinking the weekend of the 17th June we fly over and come back on the Monday , then we can have much harcore spinnage on sat and sunday along with much tea drinking and doobie making smile

Call it a tribute to Uberstaff cool

So what i would like to know is who in ireland can make it to Dublin that weekend, and who in the Uk wants to come with me biggrin

So far the list of the UK attacking team is:

Frodo

2bags

Strugz

Dunc (in spirit)

Birgit

MCP

Skully

Vixen

Nate

So any other takers? flying from gatwick return will be max £40 if we book in next few weeks! smile the earlier we can decide the cheaper it will be!

Let the dissciussion begin weavesmiley

1 more sleep for me, packing today, etc etc

Turns out my colleague flies into Belfast to see his family 10 minutes after I fly to Dublin, so I'll not be bored on the way to the airport either smile

Skully, I may have a tiny bit of chocolate for you as well, I was looking at my store yesterday (that'll be refilled in less than a month cause I'll go and see the family), and I can afford bringing another bar wink though... I thought you couldn't have anything with milk?

Anyways, thanks a lot to all organising people and strugz for the idea biggrin

Hello my excited lil invader chums...

Will be marvellous to see you all - Nate - you should have asked for those balls a couple of days ago spank

Ok... everyone, you have two hours - does anyone else want me to get either a medium sized metal contact ball (£2) or a large (£3)?!! I'll be closing the list at 1pm... so let me know biggrin

In the meantime, Jon, I'll see you in about 6 hours hug

It's a little bit rainy in Belfast just now - but it's set to clear up over the weekend... However, just to help it along... can everyone send lots of positive, sunny thoughts to the clouds above Ireland?!

To do this, please perform this well-known Irish sun dance.... Stand on one leg, while simultaneously rubbing your tummy and patting your head. Then hum. Then visualise green rolling fields and clear sunny skies.

biggrin

Thank you grouphug

Tee hee, see you all soon xx

Hmmmmm! spank Trust you to spot the flaw...... Ok I'll spell it out. Cow juice put into tea is just wrong. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!
Tea isn't meant to taste like its about to curdle. Its meant to be all tea like and stuff!

Milk on its own is mighty fine, full of grassy goodness and cowtastically useful for making cereal less dry, custard more pourable and can be turned into yummy cheese. Just keep it away from my refreshing cup of tea biggrin

1. Skully: DON'T start the whole cow-juice thing again!

2. Doop: What are you doing at a computer?!?

3. Firepoise: yes please, a big one for me smile Seems like that might be a form of juggling that agrees a bit more with messed-up wrists than staff (OUCH OUCH OUCH!) and clubs.

skully, never fear my dear. i was up till after midnight last nite making name tags for everyone. they're very lovely, you'll be most pleased smile

this day is taking forever! my boss is here too so i can't play on HoP as much as i'd like frown

righto, some good news. we've had a couple of kind offers of transport to tara on saturday. unfortunately, there's only room for stuff, no folks & folksesses... what we've decided to do is pick up all the fuel in one happy swoop and take it out there for you. we'll divide the costs equally between all spinners if no-one has any objections. it'll save you guys from dragging your bags across town to the store where we're getting a discount, and then lugging everything up the 1 mile lane that leads to tara. we may be able to stick staffs in the cars too, and as many heavy awkward tents & stuff as we can manage

god i feel like everyone's mum rolleyes

anyways, is everyone ok with their instructions, directions etc? any last minute requests? before i'm carted off to the looney bin for all this nervous twitching & jolting ubbloco

with regards to the weather: look here

but i wouldn't worry too much about a bit of drizzle, it's not like you lot are from the carribean.... the odd dripple's not gonna hurt

and besides.... i have made all the appropriate offerings to the weather gods, and it NEVER rains at our gatherings

safe trips all hug2

see you real soon

oh and Ryanair don't have restrictions on how many pieces of checked luggage you have, as long as it's not over 15kg. they make you pay approximately €7.50 per kilo overweight. bast*rds!!
