as the previous sheffield pip thread has disappeared into the archives somewhere, a new thread must be started and filled!
the next pip in shffield will be:
30th April 2005
3pm till last man standing
Endcliffe Vale Park (off hunters bar roundabout, ecclesale road)
come and play one and all!

mister cantus, the same applies, your company is sorely missed!
though tis only one day, it should be lots of fun and there is space to crash if tis needed, i knowe its a conflicting date with a lot of other stuff thst people have on but its the last day possible before the exam period kicks in
the weather man says it will be cloady and a little rainy, though still walm and nice for playing in a park- he said that. . . honest!
have fun what ever you do that weekend, and if your in 'sunny' sheffield, hope to see yous there

Lolli was indeed cool, and i think she still has 3 hacky sacks beogning to moi, she gives a good scalp stroke too

There has been alot fo confumblement about augusts PiP Sheffield.
It has been planned for this comming satarday of the bankholiday weekend (Aug 17th). as there seems to be a bit going on that weekend there has been mixed responces on who can make it that weekend i think Lolli is planning on having a bigger one in sept. however For those poeple who can make that weekend, it will still be one, sadly the little Lolli or Solace will not be there as they are bounding off to the gathering. However me and Si(he will be there if i have to drag him by his ear) will be filling in for them.

Rites I'll be back in sheffield hopefully by monday the 12th but if not definately by the monday after that. Does anyone know where people will be playing? Still behind the arts tower, or will teapots be back on by freshers week, or maybe some hunters bar PitP action sometime in sept? Any news will be scented out and acted upon appropriately.

side note: this will be the first sat after freshers week so we are trying to get a nice crowd together and hopefully get some new people down to play wth you lovely lot before teapots offically kicks off.
Also: i'd just like to clarify a few things:
Flying Teapots
it is the university's circus kills society: the Flying Teapots, that meet every monday at 7-9.
the flying teapots is independant to poiinpark though those of us who try and run PIP are all commettee members.
if youd like to come to flying teapots then it is open to anyone and costs £1 a session to members.
for the next couple of weeks we will be meeting in weston park behuind the arts tower and then will be moving back to St Andrews Church on Hanover Way.
Poi in Park
was started in sheffield by PK and is now, erratically, runi by myslef, solace and si_sheff. with some crazy others giving a hand.
we meet once a month in Endcliffe Park, entrance on hunters roundabout.
dates and times of meet ups will be posted here as qwell as having a shout out at the predating teapot sessions.
if there is anything i can help with, eg: with diorections, places to crash, ideas or general heckling, give me a shout.

PS: we're hoping to repeat tghe HOP,Spherculism, poi in park day at the end of october. this year we're trying to get a sound rig and some good outdoor decor to the park and have a proper shindig in time for halloween and bonfire night.

but if people want PIP to be moved to another date, we can have a mosh on the 24th as well as on a day you hippies can come play
