i need help with the revers weave. my friend riley tried to show me how, but i can't get it.
does anyone have some tips or suggestions, or anything to help.

Practice with just one poi. When you can get the pattern and rhythm with your left side and your right side on their own, try throwing both together. Just keep going for it! The on-line lessons here and at www.motsplace.com should help.
It took me ages to learn reverse weave. My brain just didn't want to let me do things backwards! Good luck, keep persevering and you'll get there in the end!

can i be cheeky and ask how to do the 5bt reverse weave?
iv been trying for a while now and i can do 4 at a push with extreme dodging but i cant seem to get it smooth and do the tuck on the other side to make it a 5bt.
is there a special trick to learning this move or can anyone explain how they do it?

Dito nucleopoi's problem, I always end up hitting my head unless i do major 'wiggles' to dodge the poi!! If you have any advice??

5bt reverse weave?! not fair, i still trying to do 2bt or 3bt reverse, and for that matter how do you do a normal five beat i can't seem to get it

With all weave moves, keep an eye on the poi that's going to be crossing your body next, and start pulling it across as early as possible.
So for reverse weaves, make sure you start the cross over as soon as the poi passes your leg.
You cannot trust this boy! His mind has been corrupted by colours, sounds and shapes.

oh yeah guess what, i learned the 4bt weave today, it was fighting me for a few days but i got it

Well done!
Now that you've got the 4bt, you should be a ble to pick up the 5bt as well. It took me ages to get these, I just kept getting tangled and bruised!!

yeah your right. about 10 minutes after that post, i got the 5bt after hitting myself where the sun don't shine a few times ^O^. but it was worth it.
