We've covered ages, names, how long we've been spinning, injuries and embarrassing moments. I read in one of the threads that Dangerboy is into biology or something which got me wondering...what do you do as a day job????For me, this is my day job. I also am a freelance writer. I own a production company called Creative Illusions, which helsp coordinate different acts, including Pyromorph. I also direct/teach improv theater and write for events.Other than that I have managed a book store, been a bartender at a wild bar and taught first and second grade special ed, none of which is nearly as fulfilling as performing to me (though bartending is close).Oh, and now I can also add that I am the newly inducted Reptile Specialist at a small pet store chain here in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't interfere with the performing and it is another job I love to pieces! And yes, I do know I am one of the lucky ones! tongue ------------------Pele Higher, higher burning fire...making music like a choir..."I prefer not to go where there is a path but to blaze a new one!"[This message has been edited by Pele (edited 05 January 2002).]

Nobody will ever get to the third page, but here goes.High School student, interested in sever admin, doing web development, layout work, computer graphics, small amounts of programming, and lots of troubleshooting for teachers who enjoy messing up their computers in the worst possible way, repeatedly! All this, a job at Subway, 3 school sports and lots of other activities (including Civil Rights Team) make me a busy boy.Deanage------------------A pig that doesn't fly is just an ordinary pig - Porco Rosso

Oh, they will too get to the third page!! Well they damn well better!!!I am a food technologist, which means I know exactly what is going into all that lovely processed food that you are eating!!! Umm that qualifies me to do all sorts of things like process engineering in large food factories, product development, microbiology etc etc. At the moment, I get to eat chips for a living (crisps). I am looking after the lab for a potato chip company, and a large part of my job is running the sensory evaluation...which means eating lots and lots of chips...if they let me drink beer, well it would make the job even better!!!Thing is that I am bored of being a food techie, so I (hopefully) have a job as a Mountainbike guide in Bolivia...just as a slight change of career...just saving some $$ to get there at the moment!! I say follow your dreams...if you dont like the life you have now, well stop being lazy and complaining about it...just go and change it!!!------------------fe fi foo fun

Hrm, well, I'm a bank teller for a horribly evil financial institution in a small town. I work with old xenophobic women and the classic "business type" middle-aged men. As you can probably tell, I do not enjoy it.I am, however, a college student that just may be successful at convincing the above institution to pay my tuition. I guess that you can manipulate almost any situation to your benefit if you try hard and are evil like me.-Wren"Look at him: He's Square, the Shape of Evil!"

What the hey, can't hurt to share, unless it's a limb, or internal organ I guess smileI'm the community manager for an online horse racing game. Meaning I sit on boards like these and manage them. I also write a lot of the text in the game, as my other profession is writer/poet. That's my day job. Now what I wish were my day job would be to perform. Fire, dance, music doesn't matter. I twirl the staff only, as I actually don't really like poi's (gasp, I just alienated myself forever rofl) unless someone else is spinning them smile I have done dance for the last 5 odd years.. latin, progressive, modern, funk, r&b, ballroom you name it I can do something in that style. I also play the flute not very well. So writing and performing are my passions, however they just don't earn the cash that my tech job does so I have to leave them for my spare time frown

Carrey....a leaf from my book? confused Sure, whatever. I am willing to share.Daniel, I'd love to read your findings. Our fence lizard at work has an amazing immune system. I was hired to reset the reptile section, trouble shoot to see what is wrong with them all (and they are sick) and take care of these poor things properly. The fence lizard is the only one that isn't ill! Thank goodness. With some of the reptile bastards I have on my hand I don't need an irritable fence lizard (the nile monitor and cooke's tree boa are grumpy enough for me!)------------------Pele Higher, higher burning fire...making music like a choir...https://www.pyromorph.com[This message has been edited by Pele (edited 09 January 2002).]
