Bending tube isn't a huge deal, most mechanics who do body work or exahust work could prob do it for you.

Swords? in london I've got no Idea, but try markets and roleplaying shops usually carry display type swords in Australia. Just watch the hilt as they can be very weak unless made properly (price is no indicator here).

how would you wick a "s" shaped staff........up to the bends? I thought about a slickel type staff a while ago but I wasn't sure how to go about wicking it.

And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?

Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change?

And did you exchange a walk on part in the war

for a lead role in a cage?

fire is so bright, that the handle is often the only visible part of a fire-sword underneath all that fire. Even then, your hand obscures it.

Some of the more exotic wushu swords have cresent blades at the handle and along the blade, is that the sort of fire tool you seek?

hi
i reckon if i wick the s shaped staff in the same way a normal staff

however i was planning on the s being more to one side

ie 2/3 the way along and have a smaller wick on the shorter end to save burn injuries

and a realy big wick on the other end

a sicket shaped one sounds really interesting

just a word of warning: if you do double s shaped staff like you describe, might look like a flaming swastika: which could get you in no end of trouble...

Bending metal is simple - get yourself a pipe bender. These can be bought or hired from your local handware store. As for wicking you might want to try kevlar rope.

Check out the video "In Motion With Michael Moschen" which was made by PBS (and I think is sold on Dube). Moschen is the guy that started contact juggling, but has also done a lot of other stuff. In that video he does double staff with sticks shaped like an S. They aren't super curved, but enough to be noticible and they give a pretty magical effect when spun. He also incorporates some moves where the staffs kind of lock together in various ways.

Though of making a 2.4 meter staff with about 700mm of wick on each end. I can twirl (be it slowly) and do some of my normal tricks.....anyone tried it?

the only sticking point is the cost of that much wick....

Ive got a 2.4m fire staff with 1 meter of 100mm wick on each end.... its an absolute monster and weighs sooo much! but at the same time it is muchos fun to play with and the flames / trails look so cool! the main issue i have is transporting the thing!
