Are there any other pyro types living in sleepy 'ol Cambridge these days?
Whats there to do in terms of fire spinning? Anyone want to meet up sometime and find out?

I've got to catch a train at 6:45 tomorrow morning so I think I'll get an early night. Should be around on Sunday though!

SO Friday night at the Graduate then? Is that the plan?

Guy mentioned some Strawberrrrrry Fair thing ???

I may accidentally get a little tipsy - anyone want to join me ? A week in Denmark may have driven me slightly mad

Spread the firey love to the North Sea Matty! Maybe not if you're in an oil tanker ...

So yeah, if you didn't see my email earlier, the weather is going to be dry tomorrow evening, so we'll be out on Jesus Green from 6:30 for a bit of a spin. I've only got 4L of paraffin, so do BYO smile

Jesus Green - a lot less windy and exposed, and generally a nicer place to spin than the wind-swept plains of Midsummer Common. In my opinion.

Is that an open invite to join in in the glowy madness on friday or is it "organised" ? I am back from Denmark on Friday lunch - will text guy/Tom to find out the plan...

A few drinks will be good

https://www.camcircus.org/ for all your Cambridge Community Circus needs! weavesmiley juggle

EDIT: This is actually the main bit you need - "When and where are your workshops?

On Sundays between September and June, Citylife Building (was Howard Mallett Centre), Sturton Street, Cambridge, UK. Every Sunday (except July and August), 5-6 pm Beginners Juggling, 5-6.30 pm Beginners Trapeze, 6-8 pm Main Workshop (for more experienced jugglers). Costs £1.50 for beginners, £3 for trapeze, £3 for the main session (£2.25 concessions)."

I might actually get my arse down there this weekend - been absolutely ages since I've turned up. Rubbish, I know!!!

I'd love to go to the synergy thing, but I'm too wimpish to go into Cambridge by myself in the Dark! Might get along to the circus thingy sometime though!

I don't spin poi, I get tangled up in them. Something tells me burns are out of the question!!

There's me not reading things properly! I'm even more too wimpish to go to London!!! I guessed that the camcircus would be off over Christmas, I'll prbably get down there sometime in January or February, whenever I am not required anywhere else, as seems to be the way on my one day off a week.

Hey guys!

I've just moved to Cambridge recently, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if fire spinner gatherings exist, and where and when? Oh, and also - where the hell do you buy paraffin here?! All I've seen are bookshops and posh little clothes boutiques smile

Thanks! x
