However we'll all be at PLAY so why don't you come there and spend a few days camping and getting into spinning?

I know some of you from this list, in the fall I used to come out to parker's piece for the sunday spins. its a shame I couldn't come out to more meets... but I'm headed back to the states after finishing up my year abroad here.

anyway, due to a cancelled may ball fire performance I have two and a half full (4 liter) jugs of paraffin. they're up for grabs (free) if anyone wants to come by peterhouse, near trumpington st, to pick them up. the only catch is I lost my mobile a few days ago so we'll have to arrange a set time to pick them up through email ... I leave friday afternoon.

send me an email at waxyc (at) hotmail.com if interested.

cheers,
anna

was great meeting all of you too!

So... no one contacted me, and the three 4-liter containers of paraffin are just sitting at my boyfriend's place near Peterhouse (trumpington st). If anyone wants them, they're still up for grabs, and you can email Rich at rjd40 (at) cam.ac.uk to arrange to pick them up if you like.
thanks again....

I've been told by Matty B to come in here to ask about Poi in the Punt as a possible stopping place for when I go down south from 5th - 13th August...

Poi in the punt is scheduled for mid August, so far I'm thinking the 19th is probably the best day for it (that's a saturday) We're looking at taking out about 30-36 people (including cambridge people) so that would be 5-6 punts. I'd expect about 15 people to be from cambridge itself, at a push I should be able to fit about twenty people in my house for the night.

How does that work out for people?

Location: DAY: cambridge, punts on the river NIGHT:(PM for details)should be possible to camp for the night

other details:

punting in the daytime will probably cost a few quid (about 2.50/hour with 6 people) provided we have punts filled with 6 people to share the cost.

Punting company details at http://www.scudamores.com/punting/yourself/index.php
br>
P.S, if you get a punt, ask for a metal pole, they're much easier to use than the wooden ones!

night location is sometimes used for raves

I think we're going to keep it out of the official forum threads, due to the evening venue and the fact that I'm not sure we'd be able to deal with a huge amount of people. Will get a cut and paste-y list going soon. So far its:

LazyAngel and Winged Avenger
Matty B
Gayle and Neal
Neon Shaolin
Mr Chutney
Vampyricacid
Motley
Sym and Jo
Tom (a cambridge bloke)
Steve (another Cambridge bloke)
+2 others who came to PLAY sorry, I'm having a mental block on namess
