Take it out smile ...seriously. Do you have an earring in it now? Or the safety pin..
Let it heal up, then go a piecer and get them to pierce it for you, then when you've waited a loooong time for that to heal completly go back to the piecer and get them to stretch it for you.

gums will recover, but may not grow all the way back, just get a smaller labret and brush gently-as mentioned above-and i would say use some listerine or something like that to kill all the bacteria hanging out now and speed the healing process

Don't tell them. wink

I've never told my parents when I got a new piercing. I don't plan on telling them, either. I'm quite sure they'd chop my head off if they found out about my latest two. ubblol

Hardly, they're mostly stainless steel, surgical steel or titanium. (or nanodium is it? I can't remember the name of the rediculously expensive waste of time metal)

No Iron here so my balls are safe from your magnet tongue nana

Same for aiport security, no scanner will detect your piercing metals unless you have very low grade metal which has probably already given you an infection and you've taken it out anyway hehe

Not telling them is my favourite idea... do they really NEED to know? Are you old enough to decide what (if anything) to stick through your body? rolleyes

If not.. don't tell 'em. I made the mistake of telling Mum about one of my first piercings and she told me it was self-mutilation (SO wrong.. So very very wrong). shrug

Since then I haven't told her about any, if she notices them she doesn't say anything because she knows I won't change my mind due to her harrassing me... ooooops
