We've covered ages, names, how long we've been spinning, injuries and embarrassing moments. I read in one of the threads that Dangerboy is into biology or something which got me wondering...what do you do as a day job????For me, this is my day job. I also am a freelance writer. I own a production company called Creative Illusions, which helsp coordinate different acts, including Pyromorph. I also direct/teach improv theater and write for events.Other than that I have managed a book store, been a bartender at a wild bar and taught first and second grade special ed, none of which is nearly as fulfilling as performing to me (though bartending is close).Oh, and now I can also add that I am the newly inducted Reptile Specialist at a small pet store chain here in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't interfere with the performing and it is another job I love to pieces!And yes, I do know I am one of the lucky ones!

Nobody will ever get to the third page, but here goes.High School student, interested in sever admin, doing web development, layout work, computer graphics, small amounts of programming, and lots of troubleshooting for teachers who enjoy messing up their computers in the worst possible way, repeatedly! Oh, they will too get to the third page!! Well they damn well better!!!I am a food technologist, which means I know exactly what is going into all that lovely processed food that you are eating!!! Umm that qualifies me to do all sorts of things like process engineering in large food factories, product development, microbiology etc etc. At the moment, I get to eat chips for a living (crisps). I am looking after the lab for a potato chip company, and a large part of my job is running the sensory evaluation...which means eating lots and lots of chips...if they let me drink beer, well it would make the job even better!!!Thing is that I am bored of being a food techie, so I (hopefully) have a job as a Mountainbike guide in Bolivia...just as a slight change of career...just saving some $$ to get there at the moment!! I say follow your dreams...if you dont like the life you have now, well stop being lazy and complaining about it...just go and change it!!!------------------fe fi foo fun

As you can probably tell, I do not enjoy it.I am, however, a college student that just may be successful at convincing the above institution to pay my tuition. I'm a semi-professional (well, maybe quarter professional) drummer currently enrolled at Music college. Hopefully this time next year I'll be able to say I'm a full time drummer in a famous band but heck - early days yet...pssst - I also do part-time IT work.

I am an active duty United States Marine. My military occupaionial specialty is a 2111 Small Arms Repair Tech. Boy if that don't sound damn impressive then I'll go spin my glowsticks till it does. Any hoo in other words I get to play with guns actually I fix em. Any thing from a M9 9mm Berreta to a Mk 19 mod 3 machine gun that fires a 40mm grenade at aprox 180 rounds per minute.

I am a full time circus/cabaret performer, specialising in poi, staff and juggling. I also do walkabout in a kickass robot costume. All mainly for corporate events.I also am training as a hypnotherapist (NLP) and play the musical saw, and i am also big into 3D photography, soon i will be making dollars from that too!

)as a cellar manager, which involves ordering the beer to keep us all in a job at work! move a hell of a lot of beer to 4 bars everyday and put it all in big chest fridges...lil borein after a while..but its the best job in the club and i have all that floor space and uv lights to spin poi to when ever i feel like a cig break

i guess i could hype it up a little...big bombs...big smart missiles...guns with very high cyclic rates of fire that will blow off a limb by only the inertia of the bullet going passed, and the bombs, everything from daisy cutters that explode a foot from the ground to hellfires full of flechette or imbiber beads (napalm) and dont forget about the GBU's that actually fly to the target and have GPS and the...i think i said too much, you can see what i do on CNN at just about any given time... BOOM...

I've quit the job twise to travel, but everytime I'm back from travelling my boss calls me and convinse me to start working again. I'm to lazy to find another job. I know I won't stay for long anyway. In March I'm off to Asia. Next year I might start studying, if I just could make up my mind and figure out what to study..

Before I name *my* ball and chain, I have to say that Mr pk, i am SOOOOOO *jealous* you lucky bastard!!I divide my time from being a corporate whore as a Technical Paralegal (IT, Law databases) at a large unnamed Practice in Melb. Used to be in a really hippy IT start-up but the company kerplunked =(People at raves clubs concerts n festivals just can't believe that I'm a suit-n-tie-wageslave. Not at all. It genuiunely suprises me that there are so many other white-collar eunuchs share this double life! I suspect that its is cos white collar people seek balance if not a *life* outside of 9-to-5 life, and that participation in this forum requires a minimum knowledge of the innernet. Am I wrong? Ooh you're a stronger person than I am pk. I wouldn't be able to put up with all the crasher kids. I had enough problems working as a head barman in a normal Cheshire pub putting up with drunken gits. I can't lmagine how I would cope with several hundred pilled up, pretentious, cyber-pixie children

Software Developer and web designer by day and DJ by night.As with a lot of people on this thread, the job I really love (the DJing) is the one I can't afford to live on but I'm lucky in that I do enjoy both regardless of the monetary benefits.------------------"The tincture of night began to suffuse the soup of the afternoon.
