Gathy asked me when the first Clapham is, and we talked about 1st of May?

Anyone up for it?

First Clapham of the year? 1st May. It's a Sunday with a bank holiday Monday after it, so people can play late with no excuse about work on Monday!

ubbangel

Ok... we meet by the bandstand, just go to the bandstand and you'll sure to see people spinning on the grass nearby. About 3pm ish

My boyfriend is paranoid because he doesn't spin, he's worried I'll run off with some poi jedi or something. Bless him. I need to buy him a staff so he can join in.

Anyway...Hooray! Socialisation and Big Wide World here we come!

Oh, krud. I have not worked out how to get the vast quantities of tea there yet.... the boiling hot water is a dilemma. Anyone own a camping stove? Giant thermos flask? Portable kettle?

I've seen spinners that light up without being able to do anything (remember that guy in Falmouth guys ubblol ) Obviously the more skilled you are the more impressive it is with fire but the main thing your mate should think is that the things he can do does he feel confident doing them on fire, if he only knows those 3 moves, does he know them well enough to do them with fire and know if they get tangled in certain moves what to do? The amount of moves doesnt matter so much with fire, its knwoing what you do know well rather than what you dont

See you on Sunday bounce

Oooh, Strugz you are a star! If you bring the camping stove, I can bring everything else needed and make tea for everyone and then I wont have to break any promises! hug biggrin hug biggrin

Um... can you bring a pan for water with said stove? And... water...? I can bring some water, but doubt I can carry enough with me for everyone. I suspect if there's fieryness going on there will be water around somewhere.

I can however bring biscuits also, back-up in case the tea does not work out.

There will hopefully be tea for all at Clapham! Hooray!

So biscuits, any preferences? I personally have a thing for chocolate digestives, although every biscuit has it's merits.
