Woop woop!

Still vaguely trying to decide whether I want to leave most of my friends behind to camp over Pennard's way, so I can be near all the circusy stuff. I think I have to, really, the music isn't that interesting this year for me.

Are all you lot still camping on Pennards hill? And what time are you all planning on arriving? Time to get organised I think...

ok i'm needing a little help, i didn't go last year but i went the year before and i camped in quite possibly the worst place in the world (due to my naive inexperience) right next to the dance tent so u can imagine my dissapointment when i was rudely awoken on the friday (mid)morning to a bass line from hell. So anyway where is the best place for a tent to be going? oh and can i take fire poi or will i get wrong????

Whatever happened to my green and pleasant land?

Bring poi and paraffin for stone circle joy. biggrin

Pennards it is then. What I think I will probably do is bug UCOF or a similar authority on msn for a phone number I can shout at when I get there to try and find you all (if that's alright Mr COF smile ). I think we'll be arriving Wednesday lunchtime or so - that's not going to be too late for pennards is it? I know it fills up crazyquick...

Hello people! wave

Wow, so excited about this, it's just silly! Got infected by the spinning bug at last year's Glasto and haven't been able to stop since! I'm just a lurker on these boards really, but pretty sure I met a few of you guys down at Falmouth 3, and hope I get a chance to meet you again at the stone circle for some firey goodness!

I'm stewarding this year, never done it b4, but I'm glad because I get to spend a week at the coolest place in the world. Not sure that means I'll be able to sneak ticketless people in for free tho, so don't ask! wink

18 days to go (by my count!) bounce2 bounce bounce2

Zarkia.. the problem is.. we need space for ALL of us.
Thats about 15 tents I reckon...

Thats why we all shoudl be there as early as possible, so that we can save space for tents.

oh and Socky; I feel honoured and somewhat bewildered that you describe me as "a similar authority" smile

but yes.. people can have mine or anyone elses phone number, with no ID or background checks.

Whoop whoop, all is good then, cheers for the help guys. I'm going to arrive Weds prob around lunch cause it takes ages to drive from mine which sucks and i'll probs get lost cause i got a coach last time.
Cheers will be good to have a spin with some fellow poi-ers, never had the chance to do that yet.

I'll let you into a little secret...
If you approach anyone you see with poi at the festival and say 'Have you seen the legendary Dick van Dyke?', they'll point you in our direction.

Or, you can go for the slightly more boring option and PM a few of us for our mobile numbers wink
