I want to be somewhere better than I was last year - I got there on Friday morning and missed out on the sexy camping places and ended up slumming it with normal people (ie. people like me) wink

There's a handy map here

The year before last I camped with a variety of other Hoppers at somewhere around D13h
Apparently those who went last year as well camped in pretty much the same spot.

Yes. Thats a really good map.

I would say about D13h as well... maybe actually on top of Pennards hill as I remember being on top of a hill last year.

Well early, it does.

You southern people will have to save room for us northerners who might get there a lot later than that.

Actually I need to work out how I'm getting there never mind when!

Isn't it a bit early to be planning this sort of thing though? biggrin

In previous years I've camped in B2 - lovely camping ground that's alwasy really empty, but my god it's far away from all the circus stuff.

I reckon we should all have a letter on our tents marked out with gaffer tape or something and spell something for the traditional ariel photo!

Maybe even all paint our tents the same colour and spell out something with out tents! biggrin

Hows about 3?

Last year, we woke up at about 6:30 and then travelled to Glastonbury from essex, round the bottom of the M25. took about 3 hours and we went along back roads (quiet country roads) and avoided the motorways totally.

I think, if we all want to camp together, then we will need to get there early to save space.

and how far in advance was the Falmouth thread? biggrin

Well as I still don't have a ticket and UCoF has suggested parachuting in, can you make the tents into the shape of a giant red cross so I have something to aim at? ubblol
