just shows that democracy isn't always the way forward and that politics is a load of lies once the certain person gets the position of president or prime minister

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous and talented? Who are you NOT to be?

darkpoet - i too am not happy with my inaction. I am an american citizen, but have failed to get involved in seeking change - though I didn't think Kerry would have been all that much better. I feel any kind of action has a place, but as my roommate would put it, it's time for a Revolution...but then he's studying latin american revolutions - some really interesting ideas there.

Bush sucks - but then am I that much better? - I Sure Hope So

I live in Orange County (aka. The OC and the Orange Bubble) recently 2 dolphins swam into a bay area and stayed there for about a month then died. After my marine science prof. did a necropsy he found so much mercury in the dolphin that its brain was saturated with mercury!It must have died a really sickly death.Ill keep you posted if i hear if there are any actions taken.

Pardon me for not reading it, but I know what it says.

Bush comes from oil money, and it's routine for oil companies to want to rape the land to get more black gold. So for him, this is "nothing new", he's just doing what he's always wanted to do all along.

And all I know is I didn't vote for him.

I'm weird. Just work through that and we'll all be fine.

I already went ex-pat, and did so midway through mr. Bush's first term.

but that doesn't help much with the frustration level. you can't get away from that #$%#'s face or moronic words no matter where you run.

Tell me about it. A man who says stuff like "misunderestimate" should really NOT be running our country.

I think the worst thing, however, is that half the nation supports him. x.x

Protest!

And get beaten up.

and Protest again and again and again.

Eventually a political party will see the backlash it provokes, and publicly support you. Look at the movie "Born on the 4th of July" as a pointer. If you bounce back every time and redouble your efforts, the good you are trying to do will beat this.

By the way I believe in the inherent good in ever human bean.
