I have this little girl with really bad... heart issues...and lung issues.

Anyway she's here in the Pediatric ICU for an asthma exacerbation. So the nurse went in and put on some music and she started bobbing her head a bit...and then her body...and next thing I know this little girl is groovin' all over the bed to the music.

Kids are fun sometimes. Personally or should I shall professionally however, I prefer not working with paediatrics.
I'm a radiographer and I find it hard to force little ones into having x-rays. I'm glad i'm at a hospital whereby the only paediatrics I see come with visiting adults. To each his own though. Some just love working with the kiddies.

Geez, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Kids are great biggrin I teach 4 hours of martial arts to children every day after school (at least, everyday I'm not working, which is still 2-3 days a week) and they are so much fun, even if they are made of rubber and can bend in ways normal adults sholdn't :O
And they have incredible amounts of energy too!
It brings a smile to my face and warmth to my heart when I can get the kids who have problems like ADHD, performing their katas for me, and building confidence in them selves biggrin I started doing it for my 40 community service hours, but I'm well into the hundreds now, because I love it so much biggrin

Errr, *is off topic now*
Little kids are great, and so are little animals biggrin Puppies = teh cutest ever!

i love peads too i suppose being a childrens nurse you should lol
slightly off topic.... if you have prepared the child ie through play and support you should very rarly have to force a child to do anything force should be a last resort, a good example ... needly phoia, that many adults have comes from being forsed to have injections, spend time explain distract and play and most children will get through it.
