Hels, hopefully I'll have your ropes made by then, too, so you'll be able to play with them at the festival. Just sorting out the payment at the moment, so I should get the kit in the not too distant future... biggrin

How exactly are we gonna meet? Organise a specific location? Or just run around till we can see fire and glow?

well if anyone needs a lift from surrey i'll probably be able to sort them out... does everyone want to camp together or at least in the same general area? if we all swap no's etc... we could sort something out... there's only gonna be 9000 people so i'm sure we'll all be bumping into each other anyway...
i can't wait!! biggrin bounce bounce2

I'm coming now too bounce thanks to the special 1000 tickets (no I didn't buy them all) & my missus of course.... bounce

I got in fine last year with staffs & fuel although did hear of other people having problems.
I would love to take my techs but I think I'll worry about them too much!

See you all there! beerchug

I know, i wasn't allowed my sticks last year but i think what i did wrong was :
a) enter the site while it was not very busy so the 'bouncers' had time search & question (although they allowed us to go back to the car and strategically repack our bags wink rolleyes )
b) i took my toys just as fire toys i.e. with open, black wicks - if i had them "dressed up" as practice staffs i think it would have been no problem.

Certainly lots and lots of people did get their's in .. and even if you dont - the perimeter fence is about 2 meters high wink

*getting excited now*

Just got this off the Glade Forum from one of the organisers:

Written by:

Howdy,

I suppose at some point we will get around to putting up an FAQs thing on the forum.... in the meantime, could we please have

NO

BBQs
Campfires
Gas cookers / Lamps inside tents (OK to use them outside your tent, however)
Flares (except trousers)
Fire Twirling / juggling / breathing (there will be plenty already)
Flamethrowers
Arson
Anything else involving fire likely to upset the council fire officer and lose us our license next year.

Much Obliged Y'all,

ELVIS

No fair you can't put on a fest and not expect jugglers to bring there own staff!!! eek

wicked - got my tickets too!

I can see why they dont want people spinning fire ... i remember an interesting incident at glastobury once where someone utterly trashed was thowing burning poi trough the crowd.

Non fire toys should be alright tho, so i'm going to "decorate" my sticks biggrin
