I like to spin my poi at different lengths, and with standard chains and finger grips i have been having a diffucult time with changing the lengths mid-spin. So, i had an idea... get a length of leather cord, braid it togeather and make a rope out of it, make a loop at one end (so you can secure it to your self), then attach a foot of chain and connect the balls with the leather.
Just a thought....

The chain can cut into hand and in the winder the metal is really cold.
