Ok, folks. I've been procrastinating on this, but here's the deal:

I'll probably arrive in London on the morning of Sunday, May 1. I'll leave Sunday, May 29. I may need a place to crash for a few days from the 26th on depending on the housing at St. George's.

I'll be staying and working in Tooting at St. George's Hospital, which, I understand, is in South London.

I've posted in the events section, but I finish the rotation (and hence, medical school) on the 25th, a Wednesday. I'll probably have aneed to party then, but the 27th, a Friday... Let's get together and go clubbing. After all, it's not every day that HOP's Mad Doctor (in training) loses the parenthetical disclaimer and becomes a real Mad Doctor.

isn't that an incredibly short rotation? or are you talking a year and month later? i could have sworn you were going to be there for a year. i'm confuddled.

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Nope. Just a month. A rotation is not the same thing as a residency. A month is a typical lengh for a rotation.

Cool! There's a few of us around South London and Tooting isn't too far from the centre of the city and all that offers. That is if you ever get any time off work!

You'll probably be inundated with offers of a place to crash but if you somehow manage to become a lot less attractive and charming and fine yourself homeless then let me know.

See you in May.

Right. So.

I'm going to be spending a month in Madrid this spring doing a rotation.

Either on the way there or back I think I'll need to stop in London for a few days to give myself a good infusion of English.

I'm also planning on checking out Ibiza for a coupla days.

Does this pique anyone's interest?

Oh, with a reception like THAT, I'm definately going. Late February/early March I think. Or possibly later, in April. But yeah, I think a few days in good ole London Town are just what this doctor ordered!

Whose sofa am I crashing? Prefer to be somewhere in Greater London...
