Ok, I found one. It's pricey, though.

Anyone else want to suggest something else?

Remember, Trance and Psytrance are the preferred genres.

Event Name: THE GALLERY @ Turnmills (EC1)
Date: 27/05/2005
Location: London
Details: THE GALLERY

BANK HOLIDAY FRIDAY 27TH MAY 05

Room 1:
Ferry Corsten
Tall Paul
Dave Seaman
Agnelli & Nelson
Ciaran McCarthy

Room 2:
Hosted by Joy
Steve Lee
Dave Piccioni (Azuli)
Miss Jools
Alex Anderson
Chris Sims

Another Bank Holiday to savour, another full-scale dancefloor assault from The Gallery… nothing changes there then?!! On Bank Holiday Friday 27th May, The Gallery calls upon the talents of 3 of the World’s leading DJ/Producers - Ferry Corsten, Dave Seaman and Gallery super-resident Tall Paul. Since debuting at Turnmills a couple of years ago, the flying Dutchman Ferry Corsten has become one of The Gallery’s all-time favourite DJs. Last year he moved up one place to No.5 in DJ Magazine’s prestigious Top 100 Poll and more recently he charted at No.8 in America’s equivalent poll. On the night in question Ferry will be launching his hot new event concept, L.E.F – Loud Electronic Ferocious, which features a number of experimental sounds you are likely to hear from his forthcoming new album.

Tall Paul is back on home turf, having played out in Russia last month for the launch party of The Gallery’s new monthly European adventure in Moscow. Paul also played a very special set last month at The Gallery to mark our 10th Birthday – a decade on from his set at the first ever Gallery night. With Paul still riding high in DJ Mag’s Top 20, it’s testament to his many talents, which has already seen him jump back into the studio with a vengeance this year. Renaissance and Global Underground hero Dave Seaman completes this awesome DJ hat-trick and continues his love affair with The Gallery – a club which he has graced with style for more years than I can remember. Trance titans Agnelli & Nelson wrap up the night in style with a hands-in the-air finale. Famed for the Balearic anthems 'El Nino' and 'Everyday', Agnelli & Nelson can also lay claim to having remixed some major players including Bono’s U2, plus Armin Van Buuren and Ferry Corsten. Honeyclub resident Ciaran McCarthy gets deep and twisted early doors.

This week’s backroom is hosted by another Gallery legend – 10 year resident Steve Lee. Steve is back to present his monthly Ibiza session, Joy featuring summer sounds a plenty from some of the island’s favourite spinners. This month Azuli Records head honcho Dave Piccioni takes his turn behind the Balearic 1’s & 2’s alongside the fantastic Miss Jools. Gallery resident Alex Anderson gets things twisted late on, with Chris Sims returning for another warm up mix of feel good funk.

Oh mister Cole I beg let us not start 'discussing' things again! My head is still full of fluff from the last adventure wink

Turnmills is an alright club, but is very much a mainstream London club & popular with tourists as well as clubbers. This means you do get pervy men trying to chat you up occasionally. It's not a large club and due to it's layout and normal ceiling height I often get the impression it's too crowded, but then I'm tall. There's no chance of any poi/juggling action there.
It's got good trance music and I know plenty of people who have great nights out there, but personally don't like it too much.

There's also Chichime on the 28th May at Mass, in Brixton. I haven't been to Chichime or the Mass for ages, but I hear Chichime parties are good. It's psy-trance, not trance.

If I think of anything else I'll let you know. Brighton has goood clubs, but they all close at 3 or 4am which is really crap and leaves you throwing stones into the sea until the first train home.

Ok, the 28th won't work because of my flight, which is on the 29th. That's why I need to be on the 27th.

So my view is we'll consider Turnmills to be the party until/unless someone comes up with a better suggestion for that date.

Otherwise nothing will happen and then I get no party. And I'd rather good music with some flaws than no party, yeah?

Ok, so here's the deal... Unless someone can post a better alternative by, say Wednesday, then let's make this the party.

Where/When should we meet? (help me, I'm not local...)

I went to Camden and got some rave gear. I'm excited! bounce

this is an alternative.

not my usual cup o tea but its at the coronet (which is at least a little more pleasent and generally less packed out venue) which means at least a chance of some spinny/juggly action...

any opinions?

I like this idea, too.

Ok, either is fine with me. Will I be graced with a princessly presence if we go with the psytrance? That alone will make it worth not seeing Ferry Corstein spin. biggrin
