In the story Peter-pan to fly you had to have two ingredients two fly pixie dust and a special happy thought.
mine is the thought that my little boy is going to grow up into a very special person, he is only three but is very aware. I don't live with him anymore but visit regularlly and on a recent visit he out of the blue said
"Don't worry Daddy. It dosen't mattter."
I asked what made him say that
" well....I supuose you did really" he replied
how did I do that? I asked
He answered " you wished it with your mind"
and then he changed the subject in the three year olds do and would not return to the subject.
things have been getting me down latley but this thought really cheers me up!

My happy thought is that i've just found out I'm going to Sri Lanka to help rebuild after the tsunami.
Sod the pixie dust, I feel like I can fly all by myself right now!

One of my happy thoughts is definitely my 21 month son and the way he seems to be the happiest most-well adjusted child his age I know.
My other happy thought is even if I am biased, I'm happy about that too... !

i am having a real hard time being happy righ tnow cuz my father who was my best friend passed away on jan 2nd. but my happy thought is about my little dachsund bear , she seems to be able to read minds no matter how down I get and when it seems like it all sucks , little bear knows just when and how to make me smile,
2 years roughly ago I saved her from a abusive owner and now she has saved me from unknown self inflicted horrors, long story short she is my happy thought cuz no matter how shitty it gets she will be there to cheer me up.
There are no obstacles only challenges.
Very funny scotty now beam down my pants.

happy thoughts hey? hmm...well i've been going through a ton of bad stuff lately...but i guess my happy thought that's brought me through it is fire too! i love to twirl it & photograph other people doing it too!

I guess my happy thought would be knowing that no matter how down or depressed I am there is a polar opposit to that feeling out there waiting for me. I might not know what it is yet, but I know it will be worth it when I feel it. Like laughing so damn hard you pee your pants. Or even better! Making someone else laugh so hard they pee their pants.

When im sad i look through my photographs. It sounds vain but when i see a really good picture ive taken and developed i feel like ive done something cool and it makes me smile. Photography makes me happy.

My happy thought is that I can't stop thinking about the fireworks I saw 2 days ago (saturday night). Our town has an annual arts festival and it was the huge twilight festival opening. They went for about 45 minutes! And everyone was dancing to a song by Dario G tha I hadn't heard in years. Suited the fireworks perfectly. There's more to it but oh well

my happy thought is that some day my family will be the way it used to be that keeps me going alot of the time, just that hope that someday i will come home my dad will be out of bed making something (he is a teacher and silversmith) and mum will be home looking after my lil sister, its more of an ideology than a happy thought.
