Today is International Womens day, a day where women are reminded of how we suffered in the strike for better and equal pay, the right to vote and better treatment so very many years ago.
We have that now, but we're still missing a few things.
My school held a concert which i was lucky enough to be asked to perform with my poi in. The money raised goes towards helping women in countries where they arent paid for their work, arent allowed to socialise with men and are considred inferior!
So look up on the net about womens day, its a good cause.
I would say "girl power" but its cliche and so spice girlish. So i'll say:

yay for us! i used to go to a lot of women's rally's (reclaim the night etc.), but haven't been involved in the past few years. i was posted some information about a international womens day festival type thing, but it was for 3rd of march, which confused me.
as a little side note, i jsut want to point out that i am not against men (a lot of men and women seem to think this about all feminists), i simply acknowledge that there is injustice that exists due to the inequalities that society has created between men and women, and this is something that i want to be involved in changing.
