This should keep me busy for a while me thinks...
it was a tough choice between flags and meteors, but I went with the flags biggrin

Anyone else got plans for spring break? I think my plans can be easily understood by reading the above...
And yes, there are some things there that are for friends (hence the 3 sets of diabolo, mine is the galaxy), so I shan't be alone for the long periods of learning new toys.

i try not to make plans...doesn't always work, but it's funny!! biggrin

do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good to eat!

if at first you do succeed, try not to look too astonished!

Holy crap, I wish I had your budget for new toys.

Looking at that list, I'm sure I don't really need to say this: have fun smile

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

This is how the list breaks down...

Krista (A good friend of mine, and of my best friend, and of my girlfriend...Rob's ex) $80:
Purple Fuzzy poi, medium length, double loops, with CoL2 and Art of Poi

Angie (My girlfriend) $20:
CoL5

Melissa (My EX, an still good friend) $10:
CoL1

Rob (Just about my best friend, nearing brother to me, the first convert I ever had to Poi, been juggling before me though, now we're juggling buddies, he also unicycles, which is cool) $165 (Only has $115 so I'm paying the other $50 and he's paying me back later):
CoL3
3 Torches
3 Juggling balls @ 80 mm red

Gram $to much (ME biggrin):
CoL4
2 small diabolo
2 sets of string and handles
1 medium diabolo
1 set of professional string and handles
Sage - Behind the flame
1 pair of Devil Sticks (glow in the dark)
Mr Babache's Devil Stick book
pair of green beaming poi
3 juggling balls @ 80 mm (orange or glow)

All the CoL movies that other people are buying me are for my birthday (good friday, which I'm fairly sure I'll be working, which is sad, because there are people trying to organize me a suprise birthday party)

Angie is the one who does all the filming for me, and her best friend and almost sister, Nat does all the photos as well as does Poi... (also my best friend, and).
Rob and I teach everyone else stuff, and I teach him everything else I know. We work through alot of stuff together.
Krista is a new convert to Poi after seeing Nat and I spin at a recent dance we attended. Her Fuzzy poi are a birthday present from her family.

Rob and I are planning on starting up a PitP (Picnic in the Park) thing on friday nights here. There is no scene for anything poi or spinning related here, so we're going to try and show some stuff, hopefully teach anyone who comes by and have a general blast of a time.
I've already got a bunch of people who want to come by and learn some stuff, which is why I'm trying to expand my props selection now...want people to see the diversity of what this world has to offer.
I will also be doing some performing at the next few local festival (Canada Day celebrations, Our Town Anniversary, Our Fall Fair/harvest festival, as well as local farmers markets).
I be working hard to expand the spinning world into Canada biggrin
I'm also hoping on going up on tuesdays to the local toronto spins and bringing back some new fun stuff.

OH MY GOD! THEY'RE HERE! AND THEY"RE INCREDIBLE biggrin
I swear to god I will not have a bored moment for the rest of this year AT LEAST!
Flags, although crinkly, are lovely to spin *drool*
Devil sticks are tough stuff, but I'll get em yet!
Diabolo is a bit easier to start to get the hang of it, but oh man, It's so much fun and I can forsee many long hours spent with it.
The juggling torches are fun, and after 1 and a half dish cloths and plastic baggies, we now have covers for the wicks biggrin
The Beamers are WONDERFUL, and indeed a bit hard on the bones >,<
I'm about to go watch the movies now biggrin
