Posted:Hi! Nice to see a new member.

I don't know the answer to your question (I don;t have any glow poi) but if you do a search I'm sure you'll find lots of info on the pros and cons of both kinds.

Take it easy smile

Posted:I had some of the tubular poi from Fire toys.. I didn't like them.. but I'm VERY VERY fussy about my toys.. I won't say what I didn't like about them in public.. but PM me if you want to know..

I've got some of the old cable style electro-glows and they are great, bit too light for me.. but I've remade them into super heavy poi by connecting mathmos balls on the end.. still need to work on the design tho.. it's a bit messy..

Posted:yep.. good work out for the arms... they are just a little bit too long at the mo... I need some heavy duty snips to sorten the cables on the electro-glows.. I might even jsut re-string them with nylon cord.. so I don't get my wrists cut every time I do wrist wraps.. eek
