Im currently writing this in probably the third worst pain ive ever felt in my life!!! One side of my face is pretty swollen, like imagine the swelling of a tennis ball starting the hinge in your jaw and then add a tennis ball ontop of the other one and another one, until you basically havea swelling going from the base of your jaw goign up to the top of your ear.

It started about 3 nights ago when i was chewing soemthing, some spag bol as a matter fo fact, it hurt a bit in my jaw and i thought nothing of it, then suddenly 2 nights ago it was a bit swollen i just thought oh it'll be gone in the morning, how wrong i was, now i cant eat, move my neck talk properly and plus the added of looking very silly.

The doctor says its an infection in one fo three salivary glands and is called Paratitus or something (no im not turning into a parrot Cantus), it could be an absess he says if it i doesnt go down in 48 hours i have to make another appointment, possibly go to hospital to have it removed cos it could turn into a stone or something, owww

So please on your happy days today, spare a thought for poor will, the elephant man. frown

Don't you dare post a picture!

I do wish you hadn't pointed out the parrot joke though. I hadn't noticed it.

I'm sure you'll find a way to work this into your infamous chat-up line though

My post count doesn't come into it. I was winding up somebody who, quite alarmingly, (and i really don't know how it happened eek) is one of my bestest friends.

Which is really odd considering he's such an annoying git....

Ooooh, Cantus, Birgit-lesson No. 1: Don't take her seriously when she's got on of these --> biggrin <-- suspicious smiles, I was just joking!!

And Will, I woke up this morning and now part of my mouth (the bit where a wisdom tooth used to be but was pulled out for lack of space for the other teeth) hurts and I'm really scared I'll be Elephant Woman in a few days!!! confused

If you have to go under the knife, ask for NO2 (Laughing Gas). That alone will make it worth while. Last time I went under I had 4 teeth removed and was eating soups for 2 weeks, but man, totally worth it for the laughing gas ^.^'

I had quinze. Which was an abcess behind one or both of my tonsils, meaning that the back of my throat tightened up , and I couldnt eat without writhing in agony.

I was on 8 anti biotics a day.

and that really sucked!

Ditto the laughing gas. Go for it.
