kinda streaches the limits of what qualifies to be on this forum, but anybody out there use stunt kites? i've got a couple, and i love 'em. the one that actually belongs to me as opposed to me folks is named "skippy the destroyer". flying my stunt kites is the main reason i go to the beach, it's the best place to get a decent wind. who would swim when you could be flying a kite?

Stunt kites? Is that when you're like on a wake board attached to a kite? I saw some crazy stuff like that in Florida on vacation?
I see no reason you couldn't do the same thing on land? Get a big enough kite and you're good biggrin

naw, the kites aren't propelling you, you just have either two or four stings instead of the standard two, and you make them twirl around in the sky. i saw a program on PBS where people where trying to sled to the south pole with kites as propulsion, it was wicked cool even if it didn't work.
