Okay, so I figured it's probably about time I submitted something to a COL.... and I have every intention of doing so for COL6.

I just had to share some fantastic news with the forum. One of my favourite psytrance acts of all time has given me permission to use their track for my performance! YAY! I would never have thought that big time producers like Son Kite would give me free use of such a killer track, but asked them anyway. Got an email back from them today saying yes, and they are checking to see if they have an edited version of "On Air" suitable for a 4 minute performance biggrin

This has made my day! ubbrollsmile

Now I just have to make sure my performance is good enough to actually get on COL6. *looks worried* Better start practising.

Congrats FF. I know that whole music thing can be such a pain, and asking takes courage! That is awesome for you!

I look forward to seeing your entry. kiss

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous and talented? Who are you NOT to be?

Congrats!!!! I know the feeling too. An internet friend of mine gave me permission to use one of his "expiremental" songs for what I'll eventually do. His opinion is that "I hope you're happy with it becasue I'm not re-editing it." *snickers* He's an Aussie tho, and as such is much more laid back than the usual nettizen. smile

Now I just gotta wait for good weather!

I'm weird. Just work through that and we'll all be fine.
