Posted:I am so confzzled at the moment.

I got to my car last night and found a note on the windscreen. Now no other cars had this note and as we know my car is rare so I am 99% sure it was directly aimed at me but it says:

"NEVER DOUBT THE POWER OF THE GEOFFRIES. REMEMBER THE LESSON OF THE HENRIES AND THE JACKS"

I have no idea what it is meant to be about.

The writing on this note is not familiar.....can anyone shed light onto this? Does anyone know what it is about?

Posted:i have a few ideas:
1) very bored teenagers with a sense of humor trying to get teh attention of the lady with the cool car
2) a very bored freind. although you said the writing isn't familiar....
3) a very very obscure bible reference.

in any case, it sounds funny. i advise using it as your signature

Posted:Hiya, I'd hazard a guess, but I'm probably embarrasingly wrong. It sounds like a reference to a pack of cards, where Geoffries are a synonym for the plebs/common people, Henries are the kings (who were never really popular, and seemed to meet awful fates). Jacks well, if it's the same lesson, they probably didn't fare too well either. That leaves the Queens and the Aces.
Sounds like it's general advice from one female to another about life. In otherwords, a really tedious way to say Girl Power. smile However, I'm also never right, so take this with a heavy pinch of salt wink

Dance like it hurts; Love like you need money; Work like someone is watching.

Never criticize someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you DO criticize them, you are a mile away, and you have their shoes.

You can't avoid pain by fencing yourself from it.
Some times you need the help of others more than anything else
But you have to let them close enough to help......
People want to be needed, I found that out too

what kind of messed up bible you been reading? eek

Is there any clue in the fact that the plural of Geoffrey is not Geoffries, and Henry does not pluralise into Henries? Or am I being overly picky again?

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.
