so, for the uninitiated, here is an exciting list of regular poi activities for the wales based....
Cardiff/Caerdydd:
Thursday nights, 8-10pm, come along to Ebenezer Church (Charles Street, around the back of Burger King and Next) for nofitstate circus' community juggling club, for poi and all sorts of other exciting juggle arts. It's just 2.
Little Devil's Circus coming soon... contact pitman for further details or keep an eye on this thread
on sunny evenings/days, Roath Park (Rec. or flower garden) you may well find a NOn spinning... it might also not be a NOn, or even a HoP person at all, but if you see someone there spinning, you may as well say hello...
at other unspecified times, there may be other meets, check the most recent posts in this thread for specific details...

Cardiff Games, Duke St Arcade: although not exclusively a juggling shop, they stock some poi, juggling balls and rings, plus occasional other sorts of toys... oh and the guy who owns it does poi too!

We have been giving permission by the beach owners to have a gathering on the beach and to light a bonfire as well as fire spinning. As like Falmouth (sorry if you guys feel ripped off - but good ideas need to be duplicated ) were getting a delivery of fire wood also for a nice big fire (so please put a few pound towards this if you can). There will be music there too, in many forms. We had a beach meet not so long ago in Torbay that went well. But this time its at a better beach and well closer to Plymouth, where its easier for more people to make it.
There will be some people spinning all day long, not just the evening. Please if you cant make it, let other spinners you know from the area know about it."

Posted:So we are going for Sunday 18th June Swansea beach... about 1pm-ish or is that too early? If we say we meet by where the old bridge that went from the Guildhall over the dual carriage way to the beach used to be? (did they put the bridge back yet?) Then if we fancy catching a bus down to the Gower we can.
Anyone coming into the train station that doesn't know Swansea give us a yell and I can come and meet you. Same goes for the bus station too. We can arrange for someone to meet you.

Posted:There is a carpark on the sea front by the Council offices. Then you just walk straight up the road towards the Mumbles (sea on your left hand side) and the stone bridge base is there on the left hand side.
