Telfords only a suburb of wales, i can see wales from here anyway so i dont miss it too much, plus im back in cardiff about every fortnight so i'm still there in spirit and you know what they say-
"You can take the spinner out of wales but you cant take wales out of the spinner"... well its something like that anyway.
biggrin

indeed. hence how i can get away with posting in the cymru thread whilst the other side of Europe... *does some sort of triumphant little dance* although i can't see wales from here... well maybe if i stand on top of triglav and squinted really hard...? or perhaps that is austria and i am mistaken confused

Message to all Welsh spinners

There will be an invasion of HoPpers coming to our fair country sometime soon (maybe Sept). If you have any ideas of where we can take them or house them for free or nearly free can you please raise a hand. If you can offer transport to and from trains/buses to camp sites/homes, also that would be much appreciated. There are no details yet but I'll keep you filled in as and when.

I hope we can show them as good a time as the Irish HoPpers showed us when we invaded them biggrin

Can't really promise to much in the way of accomodation, but can definitely offer myself as a guide to the city and direct poiple to correct mode of transport . . . Unfortunatley I don't own a car . . .

As long as it isn't the 3rd of September weekend as I have my cousins wedding to go to . . . so that weekend is banned. . . pleeeeaaasseee . . .

We used this when looking for property

https://www.ukpropertyshop.co.uk/s/Somerset/letting_agents_Bath.shtml

and also Rightmove. We found ours through these. All lettings agents are scum and most landlords aren't much better. How much are you looking to spend??

yeah we keep looking on right move, it's just that we need a large one bedroom flat so we can have workspace and also quite near the centre. we can pay upto £650 a month as a stretch, but everything so far is too small!

Well my place is in Widcombe (a really nice area) costs £650 is five minutes from the train station (Bath Spa) and is a three storey two bedroomed house - with a garden and parking. You should be able to find something for that....

Try the estate agents on the link i've posted as they often have more stuff than rightmove. It's also worth giving all the estate agents a ring - the numbers should be on the website and asking what they've got, as it's not always the same as the website.

I could get the local paper for you but i wouldn't have any way of sending it to you. Try the Bath Cronicle on line.

Good luck smile It will be nice to have a fellow hopper in residence after Stoo left me frown
