So I get a text telling me my favourite band has just announced the details of a long awaited tour on their website, so I panic, drive all the way to uni, run into the computer room.. only to find the tickets won't be on sale for another week. Pah.

On a lighter note, the man in B&Q is really nice. He cut my poi chains for me and took an interest in what they were. Legend.

Also the chain cutting machine was called George. According to him. Honest. I guess you learn things like that in training.

It was a simple mistruth.

The band in question is actually the Manics wink

OMG! You got HELP?! I asked the bloke to cut them on the machine for me and he goes 'sorry love you have to use the pliers for them' then stands back and watches me struggle trying to cut the bloody things. grrr

Yay! biggrin I may well be going to the Southampton date... Unfortunately, every good gig in the world is happening at once at the moment so I'm kinda broke frown

i obsess over radiohead quite a bit and i was late to buy a ticket for one of their gigs last november, the one a year and a bit ago.....i looked on ebay and found cheaper tickets that were alot closer than i would have probably got if i had rushed to buy them from the box office....however there is probably alot more demand for manics tickets....so the prices may be quite high....i reccomend this method to anyone though good stuff
