In my old gallery I have this photo and this photo, which are both old pics of me with tube core wicks.



Personally, I think that the pictures (although not very good) do them far better justice than how they actually look.

They're good for spinning fire the first couple of times, but then you'll be wanting cathedrals.

I'd recommend just starting with cathedrals- tube cores have a very small flame, and are very light.

But if that's what floats your boat, then go for it.



Oh, and just to warn you... there's many many threads about different types of wicks.

You might be better off searching for and reading them, before starting another one.

good pics but not what i was looking for, does anyone know what kind of wicks would create a longer flame? not a longer tail but a longer flame in general?

Aye, do a search.

Although I still argue that my tube cores have a lovely flame to them.

And as for Mr Confused's tube-cores...
