Hellos everyone.

I just found out that the Moscow State Circus will be performing in Belfast over the last weekend in January, and as the tickets aren't too expensive, I was thinking of going.

I was just wondering if anyone's seen the show recently and can give me any feedback?!

I know it's not Cirque du Soleil, but I'm curious about what these guys do.

(and yes, I searched but couldn't find)

Take care (and thanks)
xx

Wait... ask Molly or Bluecat. Was that the one we saw?

I'm not so smart.

Yes, it was. I was far too distracted wondering where Molly was to really notice. I had fun though. Then again, with the posse I drove with was fun anywhere. I remember it not being great enough to remember anything in particular and not being bad enough to hate. I think there was an arial act that I might have liked. And there were some quality jump roping. But not like crazy double dutch.

I'd give it an 8.0 but I'm not sure what that's out of. wink

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

I had really good cereal in the car on the way there...with chocolate bits. Does that help?

Have you got your tickets yet? V interested in going to see the show, heard it was by one get one free for the wednesday showing, but that clashes with circus class for me but I am still very tempted.

Its the moscow state and I have heard they are dead good trapeze, acro, rope. Its a circus with people not animals which is a good thing.

ps row d and h are cheap but with a good view.

Hey lads, thanks for that.

I'm working nights during the week lambchops, but I was going to see if Steph was still around and maybe go to the Friday night show (Jan 28?!).

The most expensive tickets are £17.50 (cheapest £10), so I reckon we can get some nice seats.

Sweet, we can have a little Northern outing biggrin

I think that was the circus that was in Edinburgh

I remember impressive tightrope stuff involving slopes and unicycles
and fancy trapeeze-ing
and a very cheesy number spinning 'cubes' (sort of like lots of staffs stuck together)
and a big stron man who held weights from his teeth and then had a truck drive over him
and skipping ropes that looked like giant versions of that funny plastic jewellry kiddies have

I was obviously paying more attention than NYC - who turned up to the Wrong showing so of course I wasn't there rolleyes

I saw them like 15 years ago when I was a kid.

They were INCREDIBLE. And they use no animals. So that's a circus I can do.

They're AMAZING! GO GO GO GO GO GO GO!!!

Oh, another plus about the Moscow State Circus is that not only do they use no animals, but they use full safety gear. Nets and everything.

So I very much support them, since I refuse to go to an animal-based circus and I refuse to go to acts that don't use full safety measures.
