back to the beer...

yep, american beer is foul. I had to drink a bottle of Samuel Adams once (pretty sure it was american) out of politeness and politics (rowing/private school politics - very nasty!).

it was yucky, icky, yucky stuff.

Stella Artois is where it's at!

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

Rougie: but that's what I'm doing here
Arnwyn: what letting me adjust myself in your room?..don't you dare quote that on HoP...

How could you comment on beer Rogue lolsign ... Aussie beer(on tap) was just the worst I've experienced, we got some pretty crap beer over here, but there is Stella, 1664 n .... .. um. . .Guinness, which I love - and in Oz, I didn't taste 1 nice guinness. i pretty much expected it but whenever I did order one, I was always on high expectations. VB, urgh... charlton... bbbarth.... Toohey's new footinmouth .... sorry shrug, besides that, goon was very cheap clap bounce (which us backpackers ubblove!!!)

I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure now.....

Thats because they keep all good stuff in dublin.

The people in cork couldnt take it so they invented Murphys.

Tis true - the guiness you get in the states is thin and bitter compared to what you get in Dublin.

Generally, the closer you get to the brewery, the better it is - Guiness in England is better than in the states, but not as good as in, say, Galway, and the best guiness comes strait from the brewery me thinks.

Guinness is the only way. Well, Guinness or elaborate cocktails. If it doesn't take at least 8 times as long as a normal drink to pour it's just not worth having. biggrin
