i discovered something fascinating the other evening when i was at Rozi's house cooking dinner [well, she was doing the cooking, but anyway]...

does anyone else peel mushrooms? now in my 20 odd years of mushroom consumption, i have never before encountered this phenonena. by grabbing the lip inside the button bit, the outer surface peels off leaving decidedly clean and non-dirty mushrooms.

i can admit to being non-fussy about cleaning at times, but have i been committing some great sin against modern dining ettiquette by cooking & eating mushrooms uncircumcised [...so to speak]...?

biggrin

I have great childhood memories of going mushroom picking in winter across the paddocks. Even as a bit older when horse riding I would try take them home for mum. My brothers used to make me cry though by throwing their knives at the perfect mushroom I had just found and destroying it. frown

Mum used to peel some of them and fry them in butter till they were soft. I didnt like them then, still dont like them now and was amazed at how the noncooking variety were for sale on the street in England. wink

Is it Fair to all concerned?
Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

yup. and ehm i don't want to marry at all... Well not in this lifetime
Hahaha Besides that i'm not for sale tongue

I ate psy shroomy's last wednesday when i was all alone in the snow(it hadn't snowed for years here!) Was absolutely lovely!

Today i got extremely Natural High because of dancing. Had my very first bellydance performance, did three dances, first one was a dance with a veil, second an improvisation and the last one was a trancy drumrythm where i used staff and poi on. All because of the International celebration day of women.

It made national tv!!! smile smile smile

remember to use twigs when you make paper-mache thingies... twigs are an important, essential component of any paper-mache thingy. (thats something they didnt teach you in kindergarten....)
twigs rule!

but dont let it drag you down.

kindergarten is german tongue but well i knew... I use twigs for many things: bodices, dreamcatchers, weaving etc. etc. ghehehe

Otherwise you can always use metal or real branches, depends on how big i'm going to make them smile Allready made two small ones but i made them with fabric (nice fluorescent psy print on it)

MMM going to try my today-made green cake which contains, honey, pistache nuts, cashew nuts and (natural) green colorant.
Let me tell ya, tastes GOOD!!! Hahaha here's a piece for all...
