Hey hey everyone.

First off, sorry that I haven't been on lately. I've been rather stressed lately, given that my father is leaving for Iraq in just a couple of days.

Anywho, here is my request. I am making a compilation cd of "Stalker Songs"

I've already got Every Breath You Take, Uninvited, and In The Air Tonight. I need idea's for more songs. Please please please help.

I think that's "i touch myself" by the divinals, or maybe a band that i always confuse with the divinals.

There's this song called time bomb by Nick Barker, that's pretty eerie/funny "I've been sweet and I've been good, till you walked on home through my neighbourhood. I want you and I want you to know when I hold your hand I won't let go..."

same question.......confusedconfusedconfused

You can't avoid pain by fencing yourself from it.

But you have to let them close enough to help......

'Original Sin' - MeatLoaf

Not immediately appropriate but I feel it has that hunting element to it.

'Poison' - Alice Cooper

'In The Air Tonight' was a very good choice.

Also wondering why you want there songs.

A friend of mine, and I, make cd's with a particular theme. We had a love conquers all cd, a slasher film cd (That one had Man Behind The Mask by Alice Cooper), A vampire song cd, and so on. This time we are doing a stalker cd. It's just one of our od little quirks, and it helps with writing stories when you have a cd of music that pertains to the plot really well. I'm working on a story with a stalker, and so I need stalker songs.

I know I'm weird, but I can't be too much weirder than everybody else here.

i was going to say Blondie, one way or another - not really sinister stalking mind, but it's already on the list Supafly posted.... on the subject of which there seems to be an awful lots of songs by the Police... suddenly Sting takes on quite a sinister edge...

Aurinko freedom agreement reached 10th Sept 2006

if it makes no sense that's because it's NOn-sense.

He's a teacher, he's always had a sinister edge.

I guess anything from Nick Cave and the badseeds. Morbid, chilling, and just plain wrong... eek

Here's the lyrics to Wild Rose...

Kylie Minogue feat. Nick Cave

Where The Wild Roses Grow

They call me The Wild Rose

But my name is Elisa Day

Why they call me it I do not know

For my name is Elisa Day

From the first day I saw her I knew she was the one

As she stared in my eyes and smiled

For her lips were the colour of the roses

That grew down the river, all bloody and wild

When he knocked on my door and entered the room

My trembling subsided in his sure embrace

He would be my first man, and with a careful hand

He wiped at the tears that ran down my face

[CHORUS]

On the second day I brought her a flower

She was more beautiful than any woman I'd seen

I said, "Do you know where the wild roses grow

So sweet and scarlet and free?"

On the second day he came with a single red rose

Said: "Will you give me your loss and your sorrow?"

I nodded my head, as I lay on the bed

He said, "if I show you the roses will you follow?"

[CHORUS]

On the third day he took me to the river

He showed me the roses and we kissed

And the last thing I heard was a muttered word

As he stood smiling above me with a rock in his fist

On the last day I took her where the wild roses grow

And she lay on the bank, the wind light as a thief

As I kissed her goodbye, I said, "All beauty must die"

And lent down and planted a rose between her teeth

[CHORUS]

...

See what I mean... eek

I can't hear you... I have a banana in my ear.

Guns n Roses did a song called Coma.

I'm sure Pink Floyd and maybe The Doors should be in there somewhere, but can't think at the mo. Actually, Pink Floyds Mother, not a stalker song as such, but still gives that vibe!

I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure now.....

Interesting Idea. Actually, I have a friend who is a Pink Floyd fanatic, and she could probably come up with some good songs from them.

Yes I know what Turning Japanese is really about but I can't say that on here with the PG rating and all!

"I got your picture, I got your picture
I'd like a million of you over myself
I want a doctor to take a picture
So I can look at you from inside as well
You've got me turning up and turning down
and turning in and turning 'round"

That sounds like stalker behaviour to me!

Nah it wasn't the guns n roses song I was thinking about it was done by a chick.

hmmm....I know it goes sonmething like:

I live like I live in a coma
I smoke like an iron lung
Hide out in the dark when it's summer

And I can't remember the rest of the words off by heart but I know it gets to a part where she starts singing about how she is going to her ex's house to try to catch her boyfriend doing things with the new girlfriend...

freaky.

Ok, the extra on Jagged little pill is definitly one that works. I hadn't thought about that one. I'm looking for songs from both the stalker, and the stalked. Man Behind The Mask, by Alice Cooper is once of the songs I've chosen. I figured it goes well, the whole Jason/FridayThe13th thing going for it. Anywho's, I will definitly keep these suggestions in mind.

Anyone know of anything by Nine Inch Nails that might be appropriate?
