ok is this actually possible to do a matrix with two staffs, i'm sure i heard someone talking about it somewhere
if it is actually real, i need to learn it...a video or very detailed instructions would be very very very appreciated

allright it doesnt look like strugz is going to make a video anytime soon so ben, i've seen your videos on sfs, you seem pretty good at doubles contact stuff why cant you do this yet

Not with double staff matrix though im afraid, but Bens in it all the same, perhaps there is something else you can learn from it for a while........
At least till i can do the Doubles matrix well enought to film

morning.
i think i have this on video from last summer somewhere.
its not so bad. in fact if you can matrix happily then its pretty straightforward.
the andre double matrix is much more fun, cause the matrix part of it is too fast fo the pinwheel to work, and the fastest way of getting the staff accross isto do a half steve and pass, cause the matrixing staff never gets to the neck....
if i find the video i'll post it. otherwise i might gte round to a new one.....

i tried this on fire tonight.......bad idea, i can only do the first half as it is, it messed up and lit my hair on fire....not too fun.

Keep trying man
break it down into 2 sections -
1st being round shouldre onto neck
2nd being round neck **lean sh1tloads** make go under shoulder of other arm.
after nailing the two, work on the togetherness!
stretch loads, the 2nd part is the hardest.
Dont give up to eh

i wish i was gonna be at falmouth, i suppose i might be able to be there, but it would be pushing it!
on the breaking it down part, i can do both halves, just not linkage

one of my staffs is quite bent, i dont really find it any different to use.....guess its a preference issue or something

Falmouth is definately the place to learn the matrix.............

As for trying with bent staff, you are making life difficult for yourself, as the transition from one to the other really depends on the flow of a straight staff............... but im sure with a little persiverance you may get it
But hey look at it as an excuse to make a shiney new one

i canny make staff....no idea where to start.........i would appreciate it if someone could pm me or something with some tips on which wood or metal to use, etc
