Its just I was watching the chapter on the famous book of cool but it doesn’t really say how long it takes to perfect?

Plus it would be extremely cool if any one new of and videos.

Hahaha... yeah me and my friends were thinking that after watching it. you seen how much the frisbees cost that they use for compitition. They aint cheap. But would be well cool doing that kinda $hit on the beach in the summer. You got 6 months. Give it a go and see how far you get wink

A wise man once told me, A friend will bail you outta jail, A great friend will be sitting beside you saying that was f**king awesome.

I have several working designs in and out of progress for fire frisbee, mainly using metal plates intended for fire plate spinning, need gloves for that one, or alternatively some of the flying rings show some promise

pm for details if interested

the frisbee is an aerobee, which you can usually get from most good camping stores for about £15-20

I LURVE frisbee....
There's nothing better than throwing some Z's with your friend when you're not spinning Poi, we use a 175 but I want to get hold of 160 for light winds. I purchased a DVD from this website which is awesome, loads of throws and catches that you don't even think about. We've only been practising proper freestyle for a couple of months but have started nailing a few good catches, can't wait for the spring so we can get some proper sessions in. We also use the Flashlight Frisbee (Red I find the best) which is awesome although slightly heavy and no good for nail delays due to the light fitment underneath but fantastic at night.
I did stumble across a website where it was for sale with two headband lights so you can see each other but frankly I didn't like the idea from a style point of view (yeah yeah I'm vain, who isn't)
The website is https://www.firetoys.co.uk/cgi-bin/acatalog/frisbees&aerobies.html
The address for the DVD is https://www.discology.co.uk/shop/showdiscs.asp?disc_id=249
Totally worth it if you're serious about learning, you won't look back.

If there's anyone in Essex (Chelmsford preferably) that's into throwing Frisbee I'd love to hear, I'm gonna try Frisbee Golf when the weather gets better....

That areobie fire frisbee is really flash. It looks relitivly safe too compared to these crazy ideas of metal spinning plates. Areobies are damn near the best cheap frisbies you can buy for just chucking around. I think its an areobie which hold the world record for being thrown the furthest or something. Hairy from mushypea allways tries to make me buy one.

Does this site actually exist? Or am i talking to all my other personalities?

Just found this thread,

I play ultimate frisbee. Many teams around the country (and world) check out https://www.ukultimate.com/
to find your closest team - someone will be able to get you in touch with a freestyler. I used to juggle with three discs myself and always wanted to make fire versions - freestyle would be just as safe as fire club juggling or any other fire toy that gets chucked about. If you want some LED discs with optic fibres to extending to the rim then follow the links from the site above.

A fire frisbee? oh the dilemma! the awefull awefull dilemma

Such chaos wont be seen again for quite some time.

i can just imagine it now. someone dips a frisbee with kevlar sewn into it in Kerosene. lights it. and throws it to his mate.

it drifts a little further than expected.

and the next thing you know? aahhhh i can just hear the screaming

Fair luna bright, fair luna moon
it shines at night but fades too soon
fair luna moon, fair luna bright
forever we dance
we dance under starlight

A frisbee is just like any other toy - you don't play with fire until you know what you are doing with it. Freestylers and Ultimate frisbee players and Disc golfers are very actuate with their throws. Freestylers use alot of contact skills so we're not talking about chucking to your mate sort of thing here.

Just about the only safe place that I can think of for fire frisbee is the middle of a desert.

Anyone up for a game at burning man next summer? :-)
