Hello everyone smile
Right well, everytime i try to read my emails in hotmail it comes up with a tottaly blank screen. After staring at this blank screen for far too long and nearly wearing out the refresh button thought i would see if anyone eles is having the same problem?
This is really quite annoying, grrrrrr!

hotmail is crap.

for the past 3 weeks i've only been able to log in about 3 times. it's continuously down which is a continuous pain in the hole, which is why i've switched to yahoo. today, incidentally.

problem is my password & log in info for my new yahoo account is contained in an email which is waiting patiently in my hotmail account which i cannot access at the moment.... rolleyes

i also received an enormous amount of spam in my hotmail account.

i've been offered discount viagra, diet pills, teen porn, animal porn, credit cards, mortgages and penis enlargements.

apparently yahoo don't harass you about your finances, sexual inclinations or the size of your willie...

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely smile

I have to say. Hotmail sucks. Period.

I know that doesnt help. Have you tried viewing it from a different browser?

Firefox/Opera/IE and so on?

Actually Firefox is giving me problems (I think). I've just downloaded the new version and it seems to have real trouble getting sites to load first time.

Yahoo all the way get 3 accounts
1 for all your mates to use
2 for all your business use
Never give 1 or 2 away on the internet to keep spam out.
3 for all the stuff you sign up for on the internet all the spam then comes hear

I empty out my spam account once a week just give it a skimming over to make sure I'm not missing anything important like my hop competition results then delete the lot.

before i met those lot i thought they'd be a bunch of dreadlocked hippies that smoked, set things on fire ,and drank a lot of tea but then when i met them....oh wait (PyroWill)

Right, thought I'd bump this on a completely unrelated topic (well, it is about hotmail).

I've recently got about half a dozen emails from my friends about hotmail charging for it's services.

It seems like the normal chain-email crap, but there have been one or two ones that look scarily authentic.

Here's an example of one of the emails:

Written by: Email

Hey it is Andy and john the directors of MSN, sorry for the interruption but msn is closing down. this is because too many inconsiderate people are taking up all the name (eg making up lots of different accounts for just one
person), we only have 578 names left. If you would like to close your account, DO NOT SEND THIS MESSAGE ON. If you would like to keep your account, then SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. This is no joke, we will be shutting down the servers. Send it on, thanks. WHO EVER DOES NOT SEND THIS MESSEAGE, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CLOSED AND YOU WILL COST £10.00 A MONTH TO USE. SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. NOW YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE DO NOT FORWARD THIS or REPLAY. COPY THE WHOLE EMAIL. GO BACK TO YOUR INBOX AND CLICK ON NEW. AND PASTE THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION

hey everyone, i dont normally send this sort of stuff out but had a look on the internet and its actually true . On the 1st of november , we will have to pay for the use of our MSN and email accounts unless we send this message to at least 18 contacts on your contact list. It's no joke if you don't believe me then go to the site (https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/1189119.stm ) and see for yourself. Anyways once you've sent this message to at least 18 contacts, your msn dude will become blue. please copy and paste don't forward cos people won't take
notice of it

Now I've recieved an abnormally large amount of these, and was wondering if anyone else had as well? I checked out the link, and it seemed to indicate merely that people who wanted extra features like virus scanning/larger inboxes would have to pay.

Comments?

After much consideration, I find that the view is worth the asphyxiation.

I may disagree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

I doubt the director of msn would spell his name 'john' as apposed to 'John', nor use the words 'cos or 'dude'...
I got that one last year..I still have my hotmail smile

And ditto, I've never had any problems with Hotmail..

Hotmail problems: tonight it wont let me in as the server is too busy. Must be people sending all the [censored] emails about hotmail shutting down that is clogging it up!!!

When it comes to hotmail, unless it has that MSN butterfly insted of an enverlope it's BS.

I'm one of those nasty people that when I get an email like this I send a reply going through it point by point explaining why it's a load of toss, a few links to snopes.com and about.com and a friendly remark that next time they send me one of these without talking to Mr Brain first, I'll teach them how swallow live rats.

Now send this to everyone you know before your underwear turns carniverous. wink

I keepa draft copy of cheeky/*"f**k you idiot" on ther & just reply to it with that. Only takes me 5 seconds & if everyone wants to "[i}think{/i}" that hotmail is shutting down - so be it.
Not had any probs with my accounts there
wink

Are you up for it?
wink;)
